[Bug 1169244] Re: Thinkpad ethernet unavailable after undocking

2013-05-17 Thread Jason Gipson-Nahman
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1112652 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1112652

I was having this problem, but ethernet is working for me right now. I
didn't do anything special, just been running updates over the last
couple of days. Good thing, too, because I was planning on downgrading
back to 12.10 today. Now if this audio over hdmi will work we'll be in
business.

[Bug 1112652] Re: [raring] no ethernet with auto default power option with 82579LM

2013-05-17 Thread Jason Gipson-Nahman
As of 2 days ago, ethernet wasn't working on my T430s after upgrading to
13.04, but as of 10 minutes ago, ethernet is fine. I didn't do anything
special. I've just been installing all of the available updates over the
last couple of days. Hopefully this is fixed for others as well.

[Bug 1168595] Re: HAL no longer works for watching protected flash content in 13.04

2013-04-25 Thread Jason Gipson-Nahman
I encountered this same error after upgrading from 12.10 to 13.04 this
morning. I've uninstalled/reinstalled hal a number of times, but I still
can't view videos from Google Play or Amazon Instant Vids. All other
non-protected flash videos seem to be fine. Am I doing something wrong?

[Bug 1168595] Re: HAL no longer works for watching protected flash content in 13.04

2013-04-25 Thread Jason Gipson-Nahman
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the live usb with 13.04 (64 bit), and
I still had the same issues. Still not sure what the problem is. Went
ahead and did a clean reinstall and things are back to normal. Will
stick with 12.10 for a while and keep checking the forums to see if this
issue pops up again.
