[Bug 1518642] Re: rtl8192cu kernel driver not working

2016-01-24 Thread Javier Barroso
On my system this bug is solved. I did not experiment disconnections to
the network on the last hour (running 4.2.0-25-generic)

I lost some packages, but I suspect it is my router / the possition of
the usb is not optimal

Regards,

[Bug 1518642] Re: rtl8192cu kernel driver not working

2016-01-24 Thread Javier Barroso
Hello Cristopher,

I am not sure if this bug happens with 4.2.0-25-generic kernel, so I
will wait until I'm sure that it is happening to open a new bug.

I will report a new bug if I reproduce the problem with this kernel. For
the moment I have not time to test this bug in this computer.

Thank you

[Bug 1518642] Re: rtl8192cu kernel driver not working

2016-01-20 Thread Javier Barroso
I'm testing with 4.4.0-040400-generic kernel (i386) , but I'm not the
user of this computer, so I have to wait to their users to confirm if
4.4.0-040400-generic fix the problem.

I didn't test the bug with 4.2.0-18, but it happened with 4.2.0-17.

I hope to return in a week more or less and tag the bug like you said at
the previous comment

Regards

[Bug 438435] Re: System Crash: VGA-1: EDID invalid.

2009-10-03 Thread Javier Barroso
mmm, now I'm running xserver-video-intel-2.4 from siretart ppa, and it
is working fine with 2.6.31 kernel (no more 99% cpu usage).

And in my dmesg I can still see:

So this error was managed correctly by previous video-intel versions.

2009-09-30 Thread Javier Barroso
I'm too affected by https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22936

I tried Option "SwapbuffersWait" "true", but it didn't work for me.

I tried 2.9 version from ppa, but happened again :(
[drm:edid_is_valid] *ERROR* Raw EDID:
<3>aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa aa

...

If I try start without any "xorg.conf" my screen will blink and I have
to press CNTRL-ALT-SUPR. X won't start.

I can read then, "vt: argh driver_data _became_ NULL" from my console

If I try running with VESA, it tell about different ABI versions from
xserver-xorg and xserver-xorg-video-vesa , is it another bug ?

Thanks

Please, note that where xorg.conf you can read 'vesa' it was 'intel'
when Xorg started. (I wanted to probe later, but it didn't work (again

[Bug 438435] [NEW] System Crash: VGA-1: EDID invalid.

After upgrading to karmic, my system is unstable.

crash (the mouse can move, but can't click anything). I have to use
sysrq to reboot the system (not ctrl-alt-f1 works):

[Bug 385365] Re: Ekiga crashes when you call out or recieve a call

2009-09-14 Thread Javier Barroso
After execute ekiga in jaunty, with a asterisk server like SIP server, I
made a call which was affected by #369092 bug [1].

Then I called to me, and make tried to response, button worked, but from
origin it was calling and it seemed like nobody wants to response.

Then I can't call any more and ekiga hangs.

I think this could be caused by similar debian #530706 [2] issues

Now it worked for me, I don't known which happened in my first report,
so close this bug (I'll reopen if I find any machine with this issue)

Thanks

Seems like with "Option "NoAccel" "yes" [1] it works ... but other
problems appears maybe switching from vmware full screen to Xorg:
