[Bug 1326761] Re: Tevii S471 DVB-S2 card hangs on firmware upload
I can't confirm for sure (long time ago), but I was upgrading from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (kernel 3.2) and I first bumped into this problem then. I still see the problem in 16.04, but it does not prevent me from using the card. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1326761 Title: Tevii S471 DVB-S2 card hangs on firmware upload To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1326761/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1326761] Re: Tevii S471 DVB-S2 card hangs on firmware upload
Confirming this bug in 3.19.0-33-generic, and also with kernels 3.13.0-68-generic and 4.2.0-18-generic under Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS, while my TeVii S464 worked perfectly under Ubuntu 12.04. Any solution or workaround would be very welcome.

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 741825 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/741825 I got the message from [bug 741825] to try the -proposed kernel. I did so, but that did not solve my problem. [Bug 812020] [NEW] [HDA-Intel - HDA ATI SB, playback] No sound at all
Public bug reported: Sound did work on Ubuntu 10.04, but doesn't after 11.04 upgrade or fresh install (mythbuntu). It's the jack back connectors that don't work. While trying to solve the problem I did from time to time have sound through the headphones output (not at the time of filing the bug though).
