[Bug 555350] Re: [gm45] Glitches appears sometimes on screen. Intel GMA 4500MHD

2010-05-26 Thread Jens Bergqvist
Has there been any development on this issue? I have the same problem on
an ASUS PRO32A QX179X (basically the same as an UL30A) with Intel GMA
4500MHD graphics. What information can I provide to help? It's a really
annoying bug...

[Bug 151016] Re: New in 2.6.22-13: system takes a LONG time to resume from suspend

2007-11-20 Thread Jens Bergqvist
Recently I've been trying out the x86_64 version of gutsy and as far as
I can tell this bug is limited to the 32 bit version. I've suspended my
computer a few dozen times over the past couple of days and it's come
back up every time. I do still have some other suspend/resume issues
that are really annoying (wifi/NetworkManager/knetworkmanager stuff) but
that's probably unrelated to this bug.

[Bug 151016] Re: New in 2.6.22-13: System doesn't always wake from suspend

2007-10-22 Thread Jens Bergqvist
Some general specs:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz
Chipset: Mobile Intel 945GM Express
Graphics: Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 950
WLAN: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945BG

Attached the output from "lspci -vnn".

If you want more info just ask. I really want this thing squashed.

[Bug 151016] Re: New in 2.6.22-13: System doesn't always wake from suspend

2007-10-22 Thread Jens Bergqvist
I tracked down 2.6.22-12 just after I posted my comment and as far as I
can tell it works like a charm. Should have posted my results sooner but
work got in the way. Anyway, it's probably safe to assume we're dealing
with the same bug.

[Bug 151016] Re: New in 2.6.22-13: System doesn't always wake from suspend

2007-10-22 Thread Jens Bergqvist
The bug is not limited to MacBooks. I can confirm this exact behaviour on an HP
NX7300 laptop (Intel Core 2 T5600 / 945GM) running the latest kernel
(2.6.22-14-generic).
Thanks for the connect/disconnect power workaround!
