[Bug 330833] Re: NetworkManager always overwrites default route when connecting to OpenVPN network

2009-06-11 Thread JeppeM
I can confirm this bug as well, using 9.04 with a newly set up OpenVPN
server (running the server edition of 9.04 ). When using openvpn from
the command-line, this problem does not exist, so it's most likely
network-manager-openvpn which is the problem.

[Bug 305584] Re: The Only use VPN for these addresses... option from 0.6.x version has either disappeared or become non-intuitive.

2009-02-19 Thread JeppeM
Am i the only one who cannot find the prefix field in the lastest
version? It seems to have been replaced by the Netmask field now...

But i'd have to agree with the OP, this feature is very poorly
documented - Neither the in-system (System- Help and Support), nor the
website seems to have any overview of the feature or how to use it...

[Bug 45711] Re: Volume is turned down after muting

2009-02-16 Thread JeppeM
This happens on my Thinkpad R61 as well. Here are some details:

lspci | grep Audio
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio
Controller (rev 03)

uname -a
Linux Jeppe 2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP Tue Nov 4 19:33:06 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 8.10 \n \l

dpkg -l | grep volume-manager
doesnt return anything, nor does grep vol

lsmod | grep snd | head -1
snd_hda_intel 489264 5

One more thing: It happens both when using the media key on my logitech
external keyboard, and when i use the keyboard on the thingpad itself...

[Bug 258357] Re: [G86GL] Latest NVIDIA drivers: X hangs with blank screen after logout.

2008-11-11 Thread JeppeM
I can confirm what SiLeNcE said earlier, with dual screen it messes up,
but with single screen (laptop screen only) it works normally...

[Bug 287645] Re: Protocol handler initialization failed: java.lang.Exception: Socket bind failed: [22] Invalid argument

2008-11-04 Thread JeppeM
I can confirm this issue with own installation of 5.5.27 (downloaded
from apache site and installed, not via. the repository)

[Bug 258357] Re: [G86GL] Latest NVIDIA drivers: X hangs with blank screen after logout.

2008-11-04 Thread JeppeM
Even with 177.80, there is still issues with this bug. I have it
personally, have so does an other ubuntuforum user... See the post here
(a search for .80 reveals that he is using the .80 driver, and not the
.70 as originally reported in this bug).
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=968873

I have just checked, and my entire system is up to date, so whatever you
did SiLeNcE, i think you got lucky :)
