Steps to reproduce: open the link directly, document doesn't open.
Save it to desktop open OO.org open document choose filter word 2003 xml. 
Document opens normaly. 
(Detail: borders should be invisible but are shown.)

Not sure if this reproduces the problem. If it does not then I'll write
an asp.net aspx document and add code that parses something like this:

When saving the document first and then manually applying the filter it
opens.
