Re: [Bug 1396871] Re: Update hexchat to 2.10.2 on 14.04
HRJ, The packages in that ppa are built based on the debian packages. Think of them as backports for no-longer-updated ubuntu releases. 2.10.2 doesn't have any package-breaking changes; however, I'm making the package layout a bit more modular. I can only really devote time to packaging on the weekends. I'm working on it currently and hopefully we'll have an upload today. Thanks for your patience. sney On Sun, Dec 7, 2014 at 5:32 AM, HRJ 1396...@bugs.launchpad.net wrote: Just a note, if anyone is working on this. hexchat 2.10.1 from this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~gwendal-lebihan-dev/+archive/ubuntu/hexchat-stable ... works fine in my testing. I'm a little fuzzy on Ubuntu's bug policies, but how does this bug qualify for High importance? [Bug 1294414] Re: HexChat uses Monospace not Ubuntu Mono
Monospace is not an own font; it's not a font that exists. It's a gtk alias for whatever the system's monospace font is set as, and from your last comment, that should be Ubuntu Mono. (the 9 in Monospace 9 makes it so you don't end up with a 13px font eating your irc window.) IF the font being used by hexchat is in fact different from Ubuntu Mono, then that's not a hexchat bug, but rather one against something else - gtk, maybe. I'm reluctant to hardcode the font choice when having Monospace selected should just follow the rest of the system automatically. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1294414 Title: HexChat uses Monospace not Ubuntu Mono To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hexchat/+bug/1294414/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1294415] Re: HexChat doesn't have #ubuntu as a favorite
I will not add #ubuntu as an auto-join. However, I will make it so the default server will be designated Ubuntu Servers (freenode) and if you connect without already having set favorites, a dialog will pop up when the connection is completed and suggest that you join #ubuntu. (It currently suggests #hexchat.) This update will be included with hexchat 2.9.7-1 which should be in a couple weeks according to upstream. ** Changed in: hexchat (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) = Jesse Rhodes (sney) ** Changed in: hexchat (Ubuntu) Status: New = Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1294415 Title: HexChat doesn't have #ubuntu as a favorite To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hexchat/+bug/1294415/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
