[Bug 2073517] [NEW] default jammy php8.1-memcached non compliant with php8.1
Public bug reported: By default jammy 22.04 comes with PHP8.1. The memcached extension that comes by default is 3.1.5. However, 3.1.* branch is compatible just with PHP7. In order to have a version fully compatible with PHP8, it looks like branch php-memcached 3.2 is needed according to this release changelog: https://github.com/php-memcached-dev/php-memcached/releases/tag/v3.2.0 Note that this piece of code fails with Jammy (apt-get install memcached php-cli php-memcached): ``` addServer('localhost', 11211); $memcached->set('key', 'value'); $value = $memcached->get('key', null, Memcached::GET_EXTENDED); $memcached->cas($value['cas'], 'key', 'value2', ); echo $memcached->get('key') . PHP_EOL; ``` calling to Memcached::cas() with an expiration value (fourth argument) throws this error: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Memcached::cas(): Argument #4 ($expiration) must be of type int, int given Note that this code also works well when being run with Ondřej Surý PPA: https://launchpad.net/~ondrej/+archive/ubuntu/php/+packages?field.name_filter=php- memcached&field.status_filter=published&field.series_filter= which contains php-memcached 3.2.0 (php8 compliant) rather than (3.1.5). Above code does not fail either when run in focal 20.04 nor in noble 24.04. [Bug 1861936] Re: Raspberry Pi 3 network dies shortly after a burst of IPv6 tunnel network load ((lan78xx): transmit queue 0 timed out)
Hi all, >From my tests, it doesn't seem like a problem related to ipv6, but with high load in 3B+ version. In my case its easy to reproduce if I use ipforward and connection state over 20.04 server pi image, more less from scratch, static ip, pihole, tun0 and no ipv6. root@pin:/home/janzun# uname -a Linux pin 5.4.0-1008-raspi #8-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 8 11:13:06 UTC 2020 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux # sysctl -p net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1|0 -> it depends First test: # echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward # iptables -F; iptables -X; iptables -P INPUT|FORWARD|OUTPUT ACCEPT # wget -O /dev/null https://*/10GB.bin ==> Some error in one of the attemps Second test (forget the purpose of the rules): # echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward # iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT # wget -O /dev/null https://*/10GB.bin ==> Allways stopped at about 1.5GB and crash (same with -p udp). [Bug 1690541] Re: Scrolled windows in update-manager are too small to read
I've just confirmed what I stated before, but with a small correction: When expanding the details' area while in the download phase, it uses all the available space, not only a few more lines, and that remains the case during the installation phase. [Bug 1634102] Re: Installer mistakenly mounts Btrfs root filesystem at /target/home, and crashes afterwards
Simple, your root partition is full (at 100% utilized). You need to free up some space. Fastest way to get breathing room is to remove old log files in /var/log, then look around and see what's taking up so much space. You can easily see the size of individual directories with: cd / du -chs * Other reason is that your Oracle database auditing is turned on, so after you remove all the audit files from the audit directory, then it's OKay.
