[Bug 1873895] Re: Regression: block staircase display with side-by-side monitors of different pixel widths

2020-04-26 Thread Jim Carpenter
Just tried upgrading my Xubuntu 19.10 desktop to 20.04 and I'm now
getting the same staircase effect. Video card is an AMD Radeon RX 5700
XT which is connected with a DisplayPort -> DVI-D cable to an ancient LG
W2252TQ monitor with a resolution of, yes, 1680x1050. It is the only
monitor connected.

Just thought I'd share. Rolling back to 19.10 now. I'll try again with
the point release.

Re: [Bug 183685] unsubscribe

2008-10-21 Thread Jim Carpenter
I find it really disturbing that so many people lack common sense.

E-mailing unsubscribe DOES NOT work!!! If you want to stop getting e-mails
then put your computer back in the box and return it to the store where you
purchased it.

Re: Re: HOW TO UNSUBSCRIBE! (was Re: [Bug 183685] Re: compiz.real crashed with SIGSEGV)

2008-10-19 Thread Jim Carpenter
ENOUGH! If someone posts unsubscribe to the list and it goes out to
everybody then obviously it is NOT going to unsubscribe you!

Click on the link below (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/183685) and scroll
down until you see Unsubscribe on the far right-hand side and click it. Or
you can try visiting
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz-fusion-plugins-main/+bug/183685/+subscribe.

Lets have a little common sense here, people. This has gotten a little too
silly.
