[Bug 1078028] Re: Volume level not restored when a bluetooth sound device is reconnected
Hello people. It's been almost a year since I've filed this bug. Is there anything I could do to help solve it? I'm with 13.10 final beta over here, 2 versions ahead of what I was using when it first happened and it still there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1078028 Title: Volume level not restored when a bluetooth sound device is reconnected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1078028/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1192081] Re: Previews for applications are really slow to display anything
I think a small improvement would be at least show some feedback to click action. I've been using Application lens for a long time, and I always think I'm doing something wrong when I click on a result. When I do a search for a given app name and click on a resulting app, nothing happens for a while. The software is doing some initialization under the hood or searching online for more info about that app. It will take 2~4 seconds, leaving me stuck into search results. If the desired/expected action is to open the details panel for that app, then at least a 'loading' animation will help to indicate that I've done the right thing clicking the icon, or open the panel and let it empty on screen until the app data arrives. The feel I have using the application lens is that I'm searching for apps, looking for results, but the "install/open details" feature is not implemented yet. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1192081 Title: Previews for applications are really slow to display anything To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/software-center/+bug/1192081/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1164016] Re: restore type-ahead find
Looking forward to see this thing fixed too. It's just insane that a bug that made people install alternative packages just to get rid of a tiny new feature is not considered a ultra-super-high priority on Ubuntu teams. I'm using Ubuntu for years, and this is the most annoying thing I've ever noticed since Unity was introduced. At first, I found myself cursing Ubuntu for that sudden UI change, but Unity made its way and now I really like it. I don't think the same gonna happen with this damn search thing. Nautilus browsing is just useless right now! I prefer "Ctrl+Alt+T", "cd to/a/path", and "nautilus .&" instead of touch my mouse or insanely arrow-navigate to do so. I would try to fix it myself if I knew C++ =/ Please, pleease call Mark to dev's room and ask him for a "Nautilus browsing experience". I'm sure it would hate Nautilus as we do right now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1164016 Title: restore type-ahead find To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nautilus/+bug/1164016/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1078028] [NEW] Volume too high when a bluetooth headphone is connected
Public bug reported: I have a Bluetooth headphone with a high volume output, and usually I set it to a half volume level on "sound-nua" applet. However, if I disconnect/reconnect the headphone, the sound level is not restored, the headphone is not set as default output on applet devices list, and the sound control keys on my keyboard (I'm on a laptop) actually change the main volume output (laptop speakers) instead of set the phone volume, despite of the sound being played on my phone upon connecting it. The biggest problem is that the volume will be set to 100% on my phone and almost bleed my ears =/. I have to open the sound settings, select the headphone as output, and set a lower volume level. I think the system should restore the last settings to each output device. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: sound-nua usability -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1078028 Title: Volume too high when a bluetooth headphone is connected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1078028/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1071561] [NEW] [sound-nua] Bluetooth device not listed if change mode to Off
Public bug reported: I've accidentally changed the operation mode of my Bluetooth phone from A2DP to Off, then the device is removed from the list. Instead, it should be marked as disabled, and kept on list, so I could reactivate it later. To reactivate, I needed to install tdbtools, open tdb file that store this settings (pulseaudio), then remove my device from records. After that, the device was listed again on Sound Settings as A2DP sound output. [Bug 818339] Re: UbuntuOne control panel can't retrieve credentials
I've just updated from Maverick to Natty, and as I already used Ubuntu One in Maverick, there was a key saved for it. To solve the problem, try menu System > Preferences > Password and Encryption Keys. Then, click on the arrow beside a key and seek for a "Ubuntu One" credential. Delete it. [Bug 247369] Re: several web sites now kill flash plugin every single time in firefox (amd64, nspluginwrapper)
Same problem here. Something like this: You open a page that contains a flash object, like YouTube, and then open another tab with other flashes. Then, if you close the second tab with the flash, the first instance of flashplugin disappear and a gray box stay in place. I'm using Lucid, and this bug is really annoying. Right now I've left my laptop on to load a Vimeo's video, and when I came back, closed a tab with YouTube, and the plugin disappeared. Now, I'll reload the entire clip. Sometimes, if I put browser to "Work offline" and close/reopen tab, the movie is back there, from cache. But rarely works.
