[Bug 1148033] Re: GDBus.Error:org.openobex:Error.Failed: Unable to request session
we all know that installing "bluetooth manager" makes bluetooth work, after starting "bluetooth manager", sending and browsing files works, but not receiving. The solution to receive files from phone is very simple: 1. Just start "Personal File Sharing" 2. deselect "Share public files over Bluetotth"; I also choose "Always" and selected "Notify about received files" And everything should start working... [Bug 471889] Re: snd_intel_hd ALC268 on Toshiba laptop: Microphone stop working after 9.04 to 9.10 (karmic) upgrade
The only solution to make microphone work is to install linux-backports- modules-alsa-generic... Just go to: Menu / System / Administration / Synaptic Package Manager And search and mark for installation: linux-backports-modules-alsa-generic tip: if you have multiple versions click on the first and read the description which should inform what name to install... If after the reboot and mic mute is off, still does not work, just go to terminal and type: sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and add or change the following: options snd-hda-intel model=auto enable=yes Then Ctrl+X, type Y to write and exit, reboot and mic will work. Bye and have lots of fun with Ubuntu (the best). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/870969 Title: Microphone doesn't work on Skype or Flash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/870969/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 840441] [NEW] focus lost after tab key
*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported: when tasks are heavy, and after type something in edit object, and after type tab key, it should move the focus to next object that can receive focus, but sometimes, because of other tasks running heavy, the focus does not change, and the keys typed after the tab appear in the edit where the tab key was already typed... It might seem a bug or flaw with no interest, but it is a major security breach, because, when I am in Firefox, and type, for example, at a login page, the user name, then press the tab key and type the password and then press the enter key, sometimes, I send the user name followed by the password, all in the same edit of the user name, which shows the password in screen and I think expose to the web the account combination... All this could be avoid if the edit object would have a property that changed to true after the tab key is pressed, stopping further typing in that edit, even if have the focus... ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Visibility changed to: Public -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/840441 Title: focus lost after tab key To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/840441/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
