[Bug 1833652] Re: [SB-XFi - Creative X-Fi, playback] No sound at all

2019-06-21 Thread Joe F.
Made sure everything is on/not muted and still no sound. Also tried
under a live session of Ubuntu 16.04 which detected the card, but still
came up with no sound.

[Bug 104675] Re: lastfm crashed when selecting artist/station

2007-04-09 Thread Joe F
I can get Amarok to work with last.fm. Whenever I load up the last.fm
player package it displays the small window starts to connect to the
server and bombs. Sometimes it will allow me to search for an artist
and then when I select one it bombs on me.

Could it have anything to do with the KDE sound system?
(is this a common problem for people running KDE and the Last.FM Player?)

[Bug 104675] Re: lastfm crashed when ... UPDATE Changed Auto-Suspend in KDE Sound system!

2007-04-09 Thread Joe F
Hello,

I got it to work! I appears to have something to do with the KDE Sound
System. (In my case)

I went into System Settings and selected Sound System. Under the Auto-
Suspend I lowered the number down to 1 second for testing. After I did
that when I opened Last.FM Player it worked fine. I hope this might
help find a better fix for this. I doubt that 1 second is the best
number for this seeting when it was originally 60 seconds.
