[Bug 1803604] Re: [upstream] "Send -> Document as e-mail" in Writer / Calc does not work
It works under Ubuntu Linux 20.04 as well. Unfortunately only if you "disable" the apparmor rules for senddoc or set it to "complain" mode. In this mode the rules are not blocked, but they are logged. I have not yet figured out how to functionally adjust the rule so that it also works in "enforce" mode. Maybe someone knows better about this. The rule can be put into complain mode with the following command (at your own risk). aa-complain usr.lib.libreoffice.program.senddoc -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1803604 Title: [upstream] "Send -> Document as e-mail" in Writer / Calc does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/1803604/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1905136] Re: libreoffice doesn't decrypt my gpg encrypted files
I use the build-in function "Save as..." -> "Encrypt with GPG key" to encrypt the file. But after saving I can't open the file anymore. As i am curious I tried to open the file with libreoffice on Windows (after setting up gpg :-) and it works fine. Once, I deactivated that extension and the Ubuntu Dock showed again, I noticed the delay. However, I cannot say for sure if the delay has been there from the beginning. [Bug 1825846] [NEW] mythweb interferes with apache config
Public bug reported: Release: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS mythweb: 2:29.1+fixes.20180414.329c235-0ubuntu3 When installing or updating mythweb, the post-install performs certain apache modifications, that are potentially harmful and not according to debian/ubuntu guidelines. Issue: On any post-install action originating from a install, update or dpkg-reconfigure, the packages creates a file /etc/apache2/sites-available/mythweb.conf and enables this configuration with "a2ensite" (which effectively symlinks it to /etc/apache2/sites-enabled). While this may be confortable for unexperienced users, that do not care about their apache config, this is actually causing a lot of trouble in more sophisticated apache environments. 1. The config generated ("mythweb.conf") is no site-config (containing no virtual-hosts). Thus it belongs to /etc/apache2/conf-available rather than /etc/apache2/sites-available). 2. The config is forcefully enabled on every post-install run (incl. updates!), regardless of whether the system admin decided (for whathever reason) to disable the mythweb configuration or handling this in a different way. In fact, mythweb is enabled for every (!) site (virtual-host) served by apache this way. I would suggest the following changes: - Please honor Debian's way of configuring apache and create the mythweb configuration in /etc/apache2/conf-available. - Do not re-enable this config on any update or reconfigure, if it was disabled before. Prefered alternative: Provide a debconf option, that disabled any apache configuration entirely. ** Affects: mythweb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1825846 Title: mythweb interferes with apache config To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mythweb/+bug/1825846/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

It seems like editing /usr/share/xfce4/helpers/firefox.desktop fixes this bug (as suggested in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1080319#c39); not only for thunderbird, but also for xfce4-terminal and apport-bug. [Bug 1429293] [NEW] apport-bug fails to open the launchpad site
Public bug reported: When my system-wide preferred webbrowser is configured to firefox, ubuntu-bug (aka apport-bug) fails to open the launchpad site after pressing Send. I get an empty firefox window instead. I guess this is caused by the decision to remove the -remote option in Firefox 36.x (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1080319) and related to similar bugs in thunderbird (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/1429275) and xfce4-terminal (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-terminal/+bug/1429284). dpkg -l | grep firefox ii firefox 36.0+build2-0ubuntu0.14.04.4 amd64Safe and easy web browser from Mozilla ii firefox-locale-en 36.0+build2-0ubuntu0.14.04.4 amd64English language pack for Firefox joerg@quad:~$ ps aux | grep firefox joerg30284 39.4 0.8 1107620 268552 ? [Bug 1313200] Re: package squidguard 1.5-2 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
When upgrading to trusty, this error has hit me, too. After some investigation I figured that there are some flaws in /usr/sbin/update-squidgard, which is called during the configure phase on install/update. 1) update-squidguard calls a su - proxy squidguard ... at the end to rebuild the database. This fails with Rebuild SquidGuard database - this can take a while. This account is currently not available. That's no surprise because the proxy user was created previously with proxy:x:13:13:proxy:/bin:/usr/sbin/nologin The invocation of su checks for a valid shell, which /usr/sbin/nologin isn't. 2) update-squidguard tries to restart squid at the very end, but actually fails to do so, because it checks for appropriate init.d files. With squid3 (3.3.8-1ubuntu6) there aren't any, because this package is already upstart enabled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1313200 Title: package squidguard 1.5-2 failed to install/upgrade: ErrorMessage: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/squidguard/+bug/1313200/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I was encountering the very same problem in an identical environment (nfs4 and LDAP based nameservice) but on DEBIAN (!). Ok. I at least have a nvidia card in my system and the 331.20 driver installed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245979 Title: After Upgrade to Kubuntu 13.10 akondai fails to register at d-bus session, making kde-pim suit unusable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/akonadi/+bug/1245979/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1245979]
@Bernd: Interesting. My rate is about 50/50 as well. But i noticed it working everytime after a reboot but not always after a cold boot. @Simon: Mmh. Well 4.12 should be hitting my repos pretty soon. Let's see if that changes anything.
@Bernd: Can't confirm that theory, unfortunately. The problem is occuring on my systems at random. I look at my Arch box and dbus-daemon has the PID 837 while akonadi_control has 1059 and akonadiserver1061 and still it fails to start any agents at random. And i still have a mysqlcheck zombie process lurking about. So far only the manual shutting down and restarting fixes it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to akonadi in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245979 Title: After Upgrade to Kubuntu 13.10 akondai fails to register at d-bus session, making kde-pim suit unusable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/akonadi/+bug/1245979/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

Expected behavior: scrolling the calendar view in evolution should be fast and responsive and should not cause the program to segfault. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/876397 Title: Evolution crashes with segmentation fault after upgrade to 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/876397/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 836268] Re: gee_array_list_real_get: assertion failed: (index self-_size)
Same problem here. Since this is a crash on start that happens every time I start shotwell, this renders shotwell unusable right now.
