[Bug 1447956] [NEW] Banshee interface unresponsive after upgrade to 15.04
Public bug reported: I upgraded to the newest version yesterday. Some times it ran yesterday but i had some issues too. Today I cannot run it at all. When I start it from terminal I get amongst others: [Info 10:07:03.122] All services are started 0.997291 But all I get is an unresponsive white window. I will attach the entire terminal output bellow. Public bug reported: In step 2 of 6 (Setting new software sources) after fetching files I get a Could not calculate the upgrade: An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade. This can be caused by: * Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu * Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu * Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the command 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal. Hi Jean-Baptiste, thank you for the quick reply, from the ppas I disabled the oibaf ppa, namely those two: http://ppa.launchpad.net/oibaf/graphics-drivers/ubuntu and http://ppa.launchpad.net/oibaf/graphics-drivers/ubuntu and tried again but got the same error. Apologies to bug you like this, but could you be more specific on what needs doing to revert to xorg? On a regular note is this safe? I wouldn't want to get stuck on the terminal version only in case something goes wrong with the xorg drivers but I'm guessing the upgrade on top of that will take care of this right? Okay $ ppa-purge ppa:oibaf/graphics-drivers seems to get me past this error. I hope I wont get any graphics issues after the upgrade.
