[Bug 407476] [NEW] try to close an open firefox window causes segfault
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox while browsing illwillpress.com, viewing the toon videos, it opens a new window. if i try to close that window, firefox segfaults and closes. After some issues upgrading to karmic, i was able to this out. This seemed to fix the issue i was having in Xine, VLC, and mplayer. All seems well on the home front in regard to this issue. [Bug 257483] Re: thunderbird-bin crashed with signal 5 in _XError()
I got this error while opening thunderbird via terminal. I tried it again and it worked...I'm wondering if it had something to do with it's memory of where the default window location was before I upgraded from 9.04 and had a Virtual display set to ~3000 1024. I've tried it on 1440x900, 800x600, and the virtual display size for the dual screens. All result in xine loading then exiting. TABcompletion works no problem with other tools/commands.
