[Bug 441676] Re: program lex cannot be found

2009-10-03 Thread Johnathon Mlady
after installing 'flex' via
sudo apt-get install flex

in packaging, 'lex' is a reference to 'flex' so you can use 'flex' to
get use of lex.

2009-06-26 Thread Johnathon Mlady
After some issues upgrading to karmic, i was able to this out. This

[Bug 257483] Re: thunderbird-bin crashed with signal 5 in _XError()

2009-06-26 Thread Johnathon Mlady
I got this error while opening thunderbird via terminal. I tried it
again and it worked...I'm wondering if it had something to do with it's
memory of where the default window location was before I upgraded from
9.04 and had a Virtual display set to ~3000 1024.

Not sure though.

[Bug 392787] [NEW] [Karmic] Can't resume session after system goes to sleep

2009-06-26 Thread Johnathon Mlady
Public bug reported:

Similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi/+bug/321393

Only I leave my laptop on - the screen saver comes up. After 30 mins,
it goes to sleep. It seems that after it goes to sleep - I'm not sure
if it locks up immediately after or after sleeping for a while - all the
normal lights are on, yet the only way to get it to work is to do a
hard-restart.

[Bug 388413] Re: xine crashes on open with X Error - BadAlloc

2009-06-19 Thread Johnathon Mlady
I've tried it on 1440x900, 800x600, and the virtual display size for the
dual screens. All result in xine loading then exiting. So it doesn't
work regardless of the resolution.

[Bug 388413] [NEW] xine crashes on open with X Error - BadAlloc

2009-06-17 Thread Johnathon Mlady
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xine-ui

[Jaunty]

xine-ui:
  Installed: 0.99.5+cvs20070914-2.1~lenny2ubuntu1
  Candidate: 0.99.5+cvs20070914-2.1~lenny2ubuntu1

===

I just installed xine-ui and whenever I open xine, it starts to open,
shows the gui window, then closes out.

I have dual monitors active, which I'm wondering if that's what's
causing the problem - which I'll test more out a little later on.

[Bug 368335] [NEW] gdb tab-complete doesn't work

2009-04-27 Thread Johnathon Mlady
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdb

At the prompt, I type in:
gdb TAB
and get the following:
[21:35:02 dvz] $ gdb find: cannot search `': No such file or directory
find: `/usr/scripts': No such file or directory

The TAB seems to automatically execute instead of populate options.
TABcompletion works no problem with other tools/commands.

I don't know if this is my issue or gdb, or if anyone else has had this.
