I'm running Ubuntu 7.04 and I still have this bug. I tried the fixes except Flash 9 packages and backports, since I don't know how to do that. I have a AMD64 machine. My screen resolution is 800x600 and I can't change it back, the screen resolution thingy gives me the option 800x600 and 640x480. My flashplayer is version 9 rc3, from what I recall. Firefox now refuses to open altogether.
