[Bug 1317449] Re: Please update to a version 3.8.2

2014-05-19 Thread Jon Pawley
It sounds to me that a minor upgrade in SQLite will stop these crashes
from occurring. I don't understand why this wouldn't be fixed in Kubuntu
14.04...

[Bug 659438] Re: Installation/Removal fails because of package which could not be located (failure in apt.Cache.required_download)

2011-03-28 Thread Jon Pawley
Ah, the following has now fixed this for me:

$ sudo apt-get remove
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get upgrade

Ta,

   Jon

[Bug 659438] Re: Installation/Removal fails because of package which could not be located (failure in apt.Cache.required_download)

2011-03-27 Thread Jon Pawley
Hi,

I've tried installing the following, but the process just seems to hang,
and I can only kill the apt-get process by closing the terminal (i.e.
CTRL+C doesn't stop it):

jon@black:~$ sudo apt-get install subversion apache2 libapache2-svn

subversion is already the newest version.

If I try installing this via the Software Centre, then I get a similar
message as originally logged:

SystemError: E:I wasn't able to locate file for the libaprutil1-dbd-
sqlite3 package. This might mean you need to manually fix this package.

I have no idea how to manually fix this package.
