[Bug 73921] Re: ::dom::parse not working since Hoary

2008-09-20 Thread Jonathan Ellis
It was still broken in 7.10, but the tcldom package appears to have been
removed from 8.04. That's the wrong kind of progress. :)

Note that in #160514 I describe how to easily build a package from
tcldom 3.1 sources, which fixes the problem.

[Bug 160514] Re: tcldom still broken in gutsy

2007-11-06 Thread Jonathan Ellis
Oh, I did have to fix the configure files to work with the bash in
modern ubuntu:

cp configure{,.orig} sed s/relid'/relid/ configure.orig configure

There are two configure files in tclxml and one in tcldom that need this
fix.

[Bug 160514] Re: tcldom still broken in gutsy

2007-11-06 Thread Jonathan Ellis
Building my own tclxml + tcldom using the 3.0 debian/ control/rules/etc,
updating only the version number, with the official 3.1 sources, fixes
the problem. IMO upgrading to 3.1 is a no-brainer; 3.0 is five years
old at this point. (3.1 is a mere two years old. :)
