[Bug 997927] Re: NM reports "VPN service 'openvpn' disappeared"
I'm also seeing this in 14.04 LTS -- even after installing the fixes for all the other problems with nm-applet -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/997927 Title: NM reports "VPN service 'openvpn' disappeared" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvpn/+bug/997927/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1294899] Re: Import saved VPN connection has been Recently Broken
My experience was mixed: My testing method: - Ubuntu 14.04 LTS fully updated with apt-get - enabled 'trusty proposed' repo in synaptic - from synaptic installed (updated) network-manager-gnome + whatever dependencies it decided to choose for itself - reboot (just because) Results: - first attempt to import my config.ovpn file succeeded, but - it didn't save my password on first try - the connection name didn't show up in nm-applet - second try it saved my password; - then the connection name did show up in nm-applet - selecting the VPN connection name from the VPN menu in nm-applet results in nothing happening. No connection is actually made. The "flashy connecting" icon doesn't appear where the nm-applet icon lives in the panel. So basically, I can import a VPN connection, and I can't use it. [Bug 1295439] Re: nm-connection-editor crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke()
This bug affects me also. I have a clean 14.04 install. Five different OpenVPN profiles, all that worked in 13.10. The window crashes during import. We also run an OpenVPN Access Server -- like the commercial variety SSL VPN. This exports ovpn profiles with inline base64-encoded certs. nm-connection-editor chokes on this also. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1295439 Title: nm-connection-editor crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/1295439/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 471734] [NEW] System Testing: video test seemed to get hung up. Unsure of what the test was supposed to look like.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: x11-xserver-utils The text began to cycle through video resolutions, but it was unclear whether it was working or not. The screen flashed white and black several times. The final 'white' screen seemed to linger for several seconds. I was unclear whether this was part of the test, or whether it was getting hung up. I'm not 100% sure if this is truly a bug, or whether it is a test that I simply did not understand. ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 CheckboxCommand: xrandr_cycle CheckboxData: I don't know. The screen flashed to white several times, but there was no image to see. the last screen lingered for a long time. Impossible to know if this was "successful" or not.
