[Bug 1476323] [NEW] Limited number of video files visible in my videos scope

2015-07-20 Thread Jonathan Sargant
Public bug reported:

The my videos scope in Touch seems to have a limited number of videos
it will show.

(Beyond that number, the only way I've found to access them is through
the Gallery app, as the file manager doesn't execute files.)

The number it's limited to seems to be 100. That looks like a
deliberately-set limit to me, and surely it's too low for even the basic
bq device with its 40GB of memory.

 Status: New

Re: [Bug 393230] Re: Sound goes like a skipping CD and then cuts out completely

2010-03-15 Thread Jonathan Sargant

Thank you - it's not an issue any more, as I've re-installed the OS and it's
fine.

 Hi Jonathan,

This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are
 available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ .

If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a
 Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically
gather and attach updated debug information to this report.

 apport-collect -p linux 393230

Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the
issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once
you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-
testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon
next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and
deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your
 results.

 Thanks in advance.

[This is an automated message. Apologies if it has reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

 Bug description:
It can be when I'm using any sound-related application - VLC, Firefox,
Mplayer - the sound won't come out right but will sound like a very
quickly-skipping CD. Sometimes it doesn't happen at all, and other times
after it's done it for a while the sound just dies completely.

It also occasionally does it with the drum roll on the login page, so the
drums continue for as long as I'm logged in to Ubuntu.

 I'm using version 9.04.
