[Bug 42686] Re: audioscrobbler password saved configuration file
You technically only need to store md5sum of the password, since that's all that's needed to perform a handshake with last.fm servers... That md5 sum still ought to be stored in gnome keyring, since it could be used by anyone to scrobble/listen to users account... However md5 sum cannot be used to login to the last.fm website... -- audioscrobbler password saved configuration file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/42686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 154461] Re: [needs-packaging] TheLastRipper
There's a debian/ubuntu source package hidden in official TheLastRipper repository: http://thelastripper.googlecode.com/svn/branches/Debian/ I'm official developer on TheLastRipepr and have build the current .deb packages for TheLastRipper that hosted on TheLastRipper.com and http://code.google.com/p/thelastripper So far I haven't been able to make it comply completely with the debian packaging policy... I haven't got the time to make the package perfect right now, but if anyone wants to work with it I'll gladly assist... If not then maybe I'll find time to work with it some day... -- [needs-packaging] TheLastRipper https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/154461 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 25827] Re: Thumbnails for Openoffice.org documents
Try the updated script from http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=76566, don't remember exactly which page, but I've attached a script that were posted on that thread. - It doesn't have transparent background on thumbnails - It attaches a small icon to help identify whether it's a spreadsheet, word document, presentation, etc... I hope someone will add this for a future version of Ubuntu, other distros like SuSE have had for a long time. ** Attachment added: "ooo2-thumbnailer.tar.gz" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8582805/ooo2-thumbnailer.tar.gz -- Thumbnails for Openoffice.org documents https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/25827 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 53310] Re: Wireless (ipw2200) does not work after waking up from sleep(without manually switching on).
I had the same problem with ipw2200 on a toshiba laptop, but adding ipw2200 to mondules in /etc/default/acpi-support fixed the issue... I hope you'll fix this for furture releases since it's a big bug... Anyway, I just wanted to confirm it... :) -- Wireless (ipw2200) does not work after waking up from sleep(without manually switching on). https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/53310 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 93497] Re: mp3 support not installed
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 58617 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/58617 I can confirm the issue... I just formatted my laptop, installed Ubuntu 7.04, amarok and a lot of other applications... When I tried to make amarok play .mp3's it through a popup with the headline: No mp3 support for Amarok (translated from in danish though :) ) Then it crashed, the buttons on the popup wasn't even painted... I've seen the dialog before, when I installed edgy, back then it worked fine... But it seams to be broken now... Just for the record the procedure was: 1: Open Amarok 2: Complete first run dialog 3: Browse the collection 4: Drag a song from collection to playlist 5: take screenshot (I didn't click anything on the dialog that crashed ! Step number 2 is not needed unless it's first run, I've tried it more than once) I've attached a screenshot of the crash, don't mind the effects, it just beryl making the application dark when it crashes :) ** Attachment added: "Screenshot of the crash" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8545329/AmarokCrash.png -- mp3 support not installed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/93497 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is a bug contact for amarok in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 97306] Re: [feisty] installer reports I/O error dev fd0
I had the same problem with mi little sisters Dell Latitude C600... There's no floppy drive either, but it's possible to add a floppy drive instead of the cd drive... I was using the ubuntu 7.04 official release... But when I waited a few minutes it started to move pass the error and continued the livecd... But I can tell you if the rest of the livecd works :) it doesn't seem have enough ram to run Ubuntu from livecd, perhaps I'll try with Xubuntu... -- [feisty] installer reports I/O error dev fd0 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/97306 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
