[Bug 917140] [NEW] cproj(3) does a different projection than expected
Public bug reported: The cproj function in libc6-dev-i386 2.11.1-0ubuntu7.8 in Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS does a different projection than the C99 standard requires. This has been fixed in glibc and newer versions of eglibc. See http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=10401 for the glibc bug. Can this fix be included in the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS libc? ** Affects: eglibc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/917140 Title: cproj(3) does a different projection than expected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eglibc/+bug/917140/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 621265] Re: Slow Wireless Connection in Intel 3945abg
#270 also seems to fix the problem for me. Before #270 I used the kernel from #237 which also fixed the problem for me. The standard Maverick kernel (Linux laptop 2.6.35-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 21 17:40:48 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux) gave me sometimes very bad numbers on speedtest.net . $ lspci -vnn | grep -A 1 Wireless 0b:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection [8086:4222] (rev 02) Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device [8086:1021] $ uname -a Linux laptop 2.6.35-27-generic #47lp621265v201102161837 SMP Wed Feb 16 18:40:53 UTC 2011 i686 GNU/Linux -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/621265 Title: Slow Wireless Connection in Intel 3945abg -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I don't have a Compal CL56 laptop anymore so unfortunately I cannot test if it now works out of the box. -- acerhk.ko should be loaded on Compal CL56 laptops for wireless and application key support https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/30350 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Unfortunately I don't have this laptop anymore so I can not test if this is still an issue. I just upgraded to Feisty and it is fixed for me as well on a Matrox G550. -- low visibility and contrast https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/68514 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 68560] Re: beagled crash
I also had a beagled-helper crash. I wasn't actively using any mono programs at the time. The only other mono application running was the tomboy applet. ** Attachment added: "Problem report for mono-jit" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4999830/_usr_bin_mono.1004.crash -- beagled crash https://launchpad.net/bugs/68560 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 44939] Re: Screen saver crashes X session
My screen saver started crashing the X session every now and then on Edgy. This doesn't happen every time the screen saver kicks in. I don't think that in my case it is related to OpenGL because the screen saver is set to Blank screen. I get a very similar backtrace to the one above (except for the paths and the offsets): Backtrace: 0: /usr/X11R6/bin/X(xf86SigHandler+0x81) [0x80c3971] 1: [0xe420] 2: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so [0xb7c0f946] 3: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so(__glXleaveServer+0x22) [0xb7bebc62 ] 4: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so [0xb7bec2fe] 5: /usr/X11R6/bin/X(Dispatch+0x18f) [0x808693f] 6: /usr/X11R6/bin/X(main+0x485) [0x806e715] 7: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6(__libc_start_main+0xdc) [0xb7d248cc] 8: /usr/X11R6/bin/X(FontFileCompleteXLFD+0xa1) [0x806da51] Fatal server error: Caught signal 11. [Bug 6602] Re: Workaround for USB digital camera photo download problems
I see the same thing as Jon Leighton with my Fuji FinePix F30. After applying Tormod Volden's fix importing pictures works, without it I also get the error. I can also import only one time in F-Spot, but I think that might be an F-Spot bug because after closing and opening F-Spot I can import one time again (probably F-Spot bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168091). With gThumb I can import two times in a row without problems. -- Workaround for USB digital camera photo download problems https://launchpad.net/bugs/6602 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 68514] Re: low visibility and contrast
Same here on a Matrox G550 with Sony Multiscan G420 monitor. Usplash worked fine in dapper, but is hardly visible in edgy, at first I thought usplash wasn't working at all. The default usplash resolution was 1600x1200, but I also tried 1400x1050 and 640x480 which didn't make a difference. -- low visibility and contrast https://launchpad.net/bugs/68514 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 32169] Re: Update to .19
I have recently rebuild the following debian-multimedia mythtv packages: - mythtv_0.19-0.10 - mythplugins_0.19-0.6 - myththemes_0.19-0.0 They all build cleanly in an edgy pbuilder. I have been using rebuilds of slightly older versions of these packages on my dapper mythtv system without problems for a few months now. The upgrade from the 0.18.1 ubuntu packages also went smoothly. So I think it is worthwile to try to get these packages into edgy. Does anybody know what's needed to get a MOTU to look at getting these packages into edgy? -- Update to .19 https://launchpad.net/bugs/32169 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
