[Bug 1725315] Re: evolution crashed with SIGSEGV in g_hash_table_lookup_node()

2017-10-27 Thread José Dapena Paz
This only happens on gnome-shell on wayland mode. It is evolution
indicator plugin. Unfortunately, even clicking on the checkbox to
disable it (on the list of evolution plugins) crashes evolution.

[Bug 1363798] Re: Evolution-EWS 3.12 causes Evolution to hang Utopic

2014-09-29 Thread José Dapena Paz
I've just run the issue using gdb, and I found the problem is that
libcamelews.so and libmodule-ews-configuration.so both define the Camel
EWS types. See the attached debugging session for an example of double
declaration of camel_ews_store_get_type.

[Bug 755029] Re: [sandybridge-m-gt2+] Screen Corruption

2011-07-16 Thread José Dapena Paz
I got hte same issue with the official natty drivers. But even also with
xorg-edgers ppa.

Current packages here:
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.15.0+git20110714.212fa986-0ubuntu0sarvatt~natty
linux-image-3.0.0-5

I'm using gnome-shell, but happens also on unity and metacity (non
accelerated). The behavior degrades with time, but restarting desktop
removes most of corruptions with exception of some images that may be
cached and get corrupted.

With a specific xorg-edgers ppa version:
xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.15.0+git20110605.bdb396a4-0ubuntu0sarvatt~natty
and adding this configuration in xorg.conf:

Section Device
Identifier Intel gpu
Driver intel
Option Shadow true
Option RelaxedFencing false
EndSection

I got almost stable behavior even with gnome-shell. Corruption would
happend far later, if any. But in recent packages even this
configuration doesn't help (and the old package got removed from my apt
cache, so I lost my stable configuration).

[Bug 325690] Re: udev has wrong name for devmapper devices, cryptsetup initramfs hook fails

2009-02-22 Thread José Dapena Paz
Very similar issue here with udev 138. I can confirm also that going
back to 137-2 fixes the problem. My system hangs on bootup, and never
manages to mount the root.

[Bug 139832] Re: [gutsy] rt61 wireless stops working after several minutes

2007-10-18 Thread José Dapena Paz
Still crashing in 2.6.22-14. It's a little bit better, as I can reload
the driver now (it lead to a hang). If I rmmod the driver and modprobe
it again, I get connection working again.

[Bug 139832] Re: [gutsy] rt61 wireless stops working after several minutes

2007-10-03 Thread José Dapena Paz
Same problem here. After hte mentioned crash with write_tx_data, there's
no new activity in wifi card. I cannot receive any new package, and I
need to reboot to recover. If I try to rmmod the driver once this
happens, rmmod hangs.

[Bug 63299] Re: rebuild apt with noopt option fails

2006-10-30 Thread José Dapena Paz
I removed the pragma lines and it works.

Anyway, if we read from Gcc doc here:
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/C_002b_002b-Interface.html

We can know this:
`#pragma implementation' and `#pragma interface' also have an effect on
function inlining.

If you define a class in a header file marked with `#pragma interface',
the effect on an inline function defined in that class is similar to an
explicit extern declaration—the compiler emits no code at all to define
an independent version of the function. Its definition is used only for
inlining with its callers.

-O0 removes the semantics of inline, then it may be it's not generating
any implementation :m.

[Bug 67935] Interface lo does not wake up in edgy

2006-10-24 Thread José Dapena Paz
Public bug reported:

When I start up edgy, localhost network interface is not enabled. If I do:
# ifconfig

The interface lo is not there (if I check all interfaces it's there
anyway). It seems there's a problem related to the fact that network
interfaces are enabled before mounting the machine partitions. As I've
got the /var in another partition, it's not mounted yet.

Also, if I try the bootchart I cannot get any log, for the same reason
(/var is not yet available).

** Affects: netbase (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Unconfirmed
