[Bug 1760988] [NEW] Slides during installation do not appear completely in Spanish
Public bug reported: During installation of Xubuntu Desktop amd64 20180403.1 CD image on VirtualBox, selecting Spanish language, the welcoming slides do not appear completely in Spanish. - The first ("Le damos la bienvenida a Xubuntu") and second ("Ayuda y asistencia") ones show the title in Spanish but text in English. - Third one appears in Spanish correctly. - Last ("Join the community") one appears completely in English. I'm attaching a screenshot of the first slide. ** Affects: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "First slide during installation process." https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1760988/+attachment/5100357/+files/Selection_999%28003%29.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1760988 Title: Slides during installation do not appear completely in Spanish To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu/+bug/1760988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1568604] Re: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics
Tested succesfully xserver-xorg-video-intel from xenial proposed on an Inspiron 14 3000 series laptop. [Bug 1568604] Re: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics
I am running Xenial on an Inspiron 14 laptop with Intel video. As per requested in the xubuntu-users mailing list, I installed the xserver-xorg-video-intel deb from the yaketti packages, both: * Test that following a return from suspend and logging that the cursor is visible. * Test that following a lock and unlock that the cursor is visible. work fine with the yaketty package. Removing the yaketty package and going back to the xenial one makes only this one work: * Test that following a return from suspend and logging that the cursor is visible. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568604 Title: Mouse cursor lost when unlocking with Intel graphics To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/elementaryos/+bug/1568604/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1552985] Re: [Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Series] System hangs on poweroff
Today I updated my laptop's BIOS to A12 version, and now I'm able to shutdown the computer without problems. On the BIOS update details (http://www.dell.com/support/home/mx/es/mxbsdt1/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=RCK0N&fileId=3543381893) a fix and an enhancement are mentioned: Fixes - Modify the output value of memory module manufacturer ID (from SPD) to hexadecimal ID. Enhancements - Update IO define for FreeBSD OS. Don't know which one fixes the shutting down problem. [Bug 1579831] [NEW] Moved file seems to remain in folder
Public bug reported: Bug found while running these tests: http://packages.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/361/builds/117794/testcases/1682/results After reverting to official Thunar version, ran the test again and the bug appeared: 1. Open Thunar and create folder A - the location is completely up to you 2. Create a few folder B and some files inside folder A 3. Move some of your files from A to B 4. Move all of them back to A, every now and then a file would "seem to remain" in folder B (but it in fact was moved to folder A). 5. Trying to make an operation on this "remaining" file will fail. [Bug 1552985] Re: [Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Series] System hangs on poweroff
Cristopher, I'm not able to install the image but tested it in live mode and I'm able to shut down the computer without problems. I also tried with a Xubuntu 14.04.03 live image (I didn't have a 14.04.04 one at hand) and found it also hangs when shutting down the computer. [Bug 1552985] [NEW] [Dell Inspiron 14 3000 Series] System hangs on poweroff
Public bug reported: Xubuntu 14.04.4 LTS Linux 3.13.0-79-generic #123-Ubuntu SMP Fri Feb 19 14:27:58 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux When shutting down the system, it gets stuck on the Xubuntu splash screen. I have to press the power button for a while to have it shut down. This is a dual boot system: Windows 10 and Xubuntu 14.04. I updated BIOS version to A10 a couple of days ago. It hanged when trying to shut down from both Windows and Xubuntu. After installing the firmware update from http://www.dell.com/support/article/mx/es/mxbsdt1/SLN300281/EN, the computer shuts down correctly from Windows, but still gets stuck when trying to shut down from Xubuntu, no matter if using the "Shutdown" button or running "shutdown -h now" or "poweroff" from a terminal. I found a similar bug here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1341925?comments=all, but the solution mentioned there did not work for me, also, I don't have any problems when rebooting the computer, just when trying to shut down.
