[Bug 1193100] Re: package bootchart 0.90.2-8ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1
Well, it appears this has to do with the libpango package, rather than with bootchart or initramfs (see: http://forum.pinguyos.com/Thread-13-04 -Kernel-Update-Failure) Not sure why this happened to me though, as I don't have the staging or testing PPA for gnome3 enabled. Also seems to be related to this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pango1.0/+bug/1185300 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1193100 Title: package bootchart 0.90.2-8ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-removal script returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1193100/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This was fixed in the pango version from the Ubuntu saucy repositories by adding a conflicts (see below from bug 1185300): This bug was fixed in the package pango1.0 - 1.32.5-5ubuntu1 --- pango1.0 (1.32.5-5ubuntu1) saucy; urgency=low * Add a versioned conflicts on old versions of plymouth whose initramfs hook tries to find pango modules. [Bug 1180895] [NEW] Hot corners (window spread) not working with multiple monitors
Public bug reported: Using Ubuntu 13.04 x64 fresh install on Thinkpad E420s. If I define a hot corner (such as window spread on top-left and top- right) using either Unity Tweak Tool or CCSM, they work fine while my laptop is not connected to an external monitor. The monitor is set to be to the left of my laptop in the Display settings When I connect via VGA, the top-left hot corner no longer works (on either display). The top-right one continues to work. On the other hand, if I move the external monitor to the right side of the laptop, the top-left continues to not work on either display, but the top-right works on the external display. Perhaps this is the intended behavior, but it seems more intuitive if you can use the hot corners on each display. On gnome-shell, I would intentionally misalign the external monitor and the laptop display so I could use the top-left hot corner on the laptop screen. This is a very useful behavior. As a workaround, I will just use the top-right corner, but I would prefer if the top-left worked as expected. [Bug 1055171] Re: Nautilus hangs when TIFF file properties are requested
It would seem that this bug is related to tracker and that it has happened before (see archlinux forum post: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=937784). I can confirm this by running `sudo mv /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0 /libnautilus-tracker-tags.so /usr/lib/nautilus/extensions-3.0 /libnautilus-tracker-tags.so.bak` I used to have problems when opening the properties dialog on large tif files, but after removing the nautilus tracker library, all seems well. This points to a problem in tracker, I would think. Unfortunately, I don't know much about how it works. I can just offer the workaround for now. josh@josh-ThinkPad:~/.local/share/applications$ tracker-info -V Tracker 0.14.1 This program is free software and comes without any warranty. I actually think I should retract that previous comment. It seemed to work right away, but now about an hour later I am having the same problem, even after killing all tracker processes. [Bug 971715] Re: Nautilus doesn't show up in alt-tab in GNOME 3
I can confirm this bug on Ubuntu 11.10. I am using: GNOME Shell 3.2.2.1 GNOME nautilus 3.2.1 Some more information about this bug: It occurs whether starting nautilus from the dash (or panel or whatever it's called in the activities overview), or if I start it using the keyboard shortcut that I defined for 'Home folder' under 'Keyboard' in System Settings. It does not occur if I start nautilus using the run command prompt (Alt+F2). Nautilus will reappear for me (sometimes) if I switch to VirtualBox (in fullscreen mode), escape, and alt-tab back to an Ubuntu window. Upon the next alt-tab, it will be in the list. Note: this doesn't always occur however, and sometimes I have to repeat this process multiple times to get nautilus to appear in the alt-tab list. On second examination, I'm not sure if this is related, but it is happening multiple times. Please let me know if I can be of any more help. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/971715 Title: Nautilus doesn't show up in alt-tab in GNOME 3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/971715/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
