[Bug 343727] Re: [Jaunty] Cannot connect to a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000

2009-09-27 Thread Jouston Huang
I just saw this same issue again on Karmic alpha-5 with a full upgrade
on 2009/09/27.

The mouse can do first pairing but after kernel jump and reboot I can't
connect it anymore.

[Bug 295536] Re: cups-pdf fails bad status reported and no pdf created

2009-09-04 Thread Jouston Huang
Just upgraded from Jaungty to Karmic Alpha-5 by update-manager -d.

ii cups-pdf 2.5.0-4PDF printer for CUPS
ii cups 1.4.0-3.1 Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - server

The phenomenon is what I'm tried to print with cups-pdf printer, nothing
will show up in ~/PDF

After check /var/log/cups/cups-pdf_log, it was empty and the job was
queue in /var/spool/cups/

It's obvious to me something goes wrong which cups does not pass the job
to cups-pdf.

Expected result:
Printed PDF show up in ~/PDF

Actual result:
No printed PDF show up

[Bug 274428] [NEW] Network Manager set DNS wrong for GSM network

2008-09-25 Thread Jouston Huang
Public bug reported:

sdfDescription: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release:8.04

I am using network-
manager-0.7~~svn20080908t183521+eni0-0ubuntu4~nm1~hardy1. With my Huawei
E169 HSDPA modem I always have my /etc/resolve.conf set to the DNS gain
from eth0.

Then I figure out that the eth0 was automatically setup as "system
setting". Only after I uncheck that "system setting" my
/etc/resolve.conf back to right setting.

This is an usability issue. People would not know their other wireless
network or GSM network can't override the DNS setting.
