Re: [Bug 1892440] Re: Shell text with wrong size in mutter 3.36.4-0ubuntu0.20.04.2 (mostly on Nvidia)

2020-09-26 Thread Juan Avila
It's not working for me using nvidia graphic card. The only way to work around
is to use lightdm instead of gdm3, but I can't login automatically.
I started using Ubuntu budgie in dual boot until the bug is fixed.
I tried Kubuntu and the bug is also in Kubuntu.

2020-09-09 Thread Juan Avila
Hey guys, please, calm down. I'm sure canonical assignee is doing his best and
we'll have a solution to this bug quick enough.Envoyé depuis mon téléphone

KUbuntu, UbuntuMate, XUbuntu? However, when PopOS people fixed it, it should be
possible to learn from their code to fix mutter faster. But this had to be done
by someone. I *am* able to code, and probably could take a look, but also my
skills and my speed are far not good enough, when hundreds of persons are very

willingness to help?Best regardsStefan--

[Bug 1893792] [NEW] very tiny fonts on top bar. I downgraded libmutter package temporarily as a workaround

2020-09-01 Thread Juan Avila
Public bug reported:

The temporary solution is:

sudo apt install libmutter-6-0=3.36.1-3ubuntu3 gir1.2-mutter-6=3.36.1-3ubuntu3
sudo apt-mark hold libmutter-6-0

This bug seems to be realated to nvdia graphic cards drivers as there is
no bug when using the open source nvidia driver.

Waiting for you to find a solution guys.

I'm not the only one with this bug. I've found the temporary solution on
the net.

Thank-you
