[Bug 373680] Re: network-manager fails periodically , on backgound networks scan?

2010-05-28 Thread Julien Couret
I'm sorry Luis but I don't understand what you mean by "The background
scanning implemented in Lucid 2.6.32 kernel is the correct approach to
this problem. ". Today, the problem is still there with those kernels
(see Robert and hurie previous comments).

I understand that Wagner's fix is just a temporary hack and may change
normal roaming behaviors but this is the only way to have a stable ping
with wireless and network manager on lucid. So, does anyone have a
status for this bug ?

[Bug 373680] Re: network-manager fails periodically , on backgound networks scan?

2010-04-26 Thread Julien Couret
Same problem here on a brand new lucid lynx : ping raises every 2
minutes when using wireless.

System info :

2.6.32-21-generic #32-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 16 08:09:38 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux
0b:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN
[Kedron] Network Connection (rev 61)
cfg80211 148386 3 iwlagn,iwlcore,mac80211

Wagner, could you please release a lucid package including your patch ?

[Bug 211252] Re: Cannot recieve files using bluetooth

2008-04-28 Thread Julien Couret
Confirmed here, with a Nokia N70.

I could browse/copy files with Nautilus in 7.10, since Hardy, Nautilus
opens an empty window ( obex// address is right)

[Bug 206452] Re: Gutsy to Hardy upgrade freezes

2008-04-03 Thread Julien Couret
Same problem here.

I should notice that I have done Edgy > Feisty > Gutsy and now > Hardy
upgrades on my laptop. Don't know if it could help.

I could provide any other log but I have exactly the same as Neil.

[Bug 210330] [NEW] mktemp unpacking conflicts with debianutils

2008-04-01 Thread Julien Couret
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: debianutils

Hi,

Trying to upgrade a Dapper server to Hardy, dpkg crashes processing
mktemp package :

Extracting templates from packages: 100%

(Reading database ... 16724 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking mktemp (from .../mktemp_1.5-5ubuntu1_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/mktemp_1.5-5ubuntu1_amd64.deb
(--unpack):
trying to overwrite `/bin/mktemp', which is also in package debianutils
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/mktemp_1.5-5ubuntu1_amd64.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Any idea ?

Thanks.
