[Bug 297663] Re: Thinkpad X61 tablet - resume hangs after undocking and subsequent suspend to RAM
X61 don't have CDroms, the dock has one but since this requires taking the laptop out of the dock we can't use that either. Incidentally, according to the thread which starts at http://www.mail- archive.com/ibm-acpi-de...@lists.sourceforge.net/msg01488.html , the dock's cdrom is exactly what caused this problem. I've taken a look at that branch recently, it doesn't change the existing APIs but adds quite a few, so we can do it in a minor release. [Bug 137873] tracker-search-tool reports no result
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tracker tracker doesn't seem to work at all, search in tracker-search-tool produces no result. I've upgraded to gusty for more than a week already, and it looks like it already indexed quite a bit of data: ~/.cache/tracker $ ls -lh total 115M -rw--- 1 khc khc 45M 2007-09-06 19:56 email-content.db -rw--- 1 khc khc 12K 2007-09-06 10:19 email-index.db -rw--- 1 khc khc 52M 2007-09-06 19:56 email-meta.db -rw--- 1 khc khc 7.0M 2007-09-06 19:55 file-content.db -rw--- 1 khc khc 12K 2007-09-06 10:19 file-index.db -rw--- 1 khc khc 11M 2007-09-06 19:55 file-meta.db I looked around and it doesn't seem like tracker has any log, or any way to get debug output at all. Running tracker-search-tool in terminal produces no error or any message. ** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- tracker-search-tool reports no result https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137873 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 135738] DisplaySize setting not honored
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg I have this in my xorg.conf: Section "Monitor" Identifier "VG2230wm" Option "DPMS" DisplaySize 444 277 HorizSync 24-82 VertRefresh 50-85 EndSection However, xdpyinfo reports that it's not using it: screen #0: dimensions:1680x1050 pixels (474x303 millimeters) This was working in 7.04, but broke when I upgraded to gusty somewhere around tribe 5. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- DisplaySize setting not honored https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/135738 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 134791] Re: wrong screen size for VG2230wm
Unfortunately I don't have the CD anymore, since I never needed it. I notice that the driver (?) can be downloaded at the vendor's website here: http://www.viewsonic.com/support/drivers/drivers.cfm?category=1&formName=monitor -- wrong screen size for VG2230wm https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134791 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 133919] Re: [gutsy] tooltips take way too long to display
Looks like I can overwrite that by putting this in my .gtkrc-2.0: gtk-tooltip-timeout = 500 -- [gutsy] tooltips take way too long to display https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/133919 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 74068] Re: evolution crashed while switching exchange folder
Evolution exchange is so crashy that I haven't been paying close attention as to when/how/why it crashes, I just restart it. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox In ubuntu edgy, libnss3 has the following Depends: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.4-1) However, libnss3.so actually depends on libnspr4: ldd /usr/lib/libnss3.so ... libplds4.so => /usr/lib/libplds4.so (0xb7ea5000) libnspr4.so => /usr/lib/libnspr4.so (0xb7e73000) This caused a kubuntu user who wants to have gaim ssl support to need to manually install libnspr after installing libnss3. ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- libnss3 does not depend on libnspr https://launchpad.net/bugs/84481 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
