I appreciate the reminder, but Ubuntu Bionic is still under development
and has not been officially released. Does it make sense to recommend

I've also had a crash in this function.

I rebooted to finish installing 17.04, my Google calendars showed up in
Evolution but not GNOME Shell or GNOME Calendar.  When I tried to add an
event, GNOME calendar crashed.

The event was successfully added to Google Calendar.

After restarting GNOME Calendar, everything showed up fine.

Installing p7zip-full solves that problem. But again, file-roller
doesn't tell me that's a solution.

So would the right response here being 
- add p7zip-full as a dependency of the file-roller package?
- change file-roller so it requests installing p7zip-full?
- add AES decryption to unzip, which hasn't been updated in 7 years? 

Perhaps this bug should be changed back to affecting file-roller, or
separate bugs filed against file-roller for 1 and 2.

Computer was suspended on battery power. Plug in AC, Ethernet, then resume from 
suspension. gnome-shell freezes for a while, and then works as usual.
Plug in 2 USB hubs. gnome-shell freezes for a while, then crashes. 
(If I also plug in a monitor using HDMI->DVI adapter usually both screens go 
blank after 5 seconds, though programs are still running.)

I ran the installer from a downloaded  Ubuntu 14.04 release image, written to a 
USB disk, to upgrade Ubuntu 13.10 to 14.04.
I've set the language as Chinese (Simplified), 'download updates during 
install' and 'install these extra packages' were checked, and when prompted 
what to do with Ubuntu 13.10 I chose to update.
But after completing all the pages in the installer, it exited with a warning 
message.

when I re-ran the installer in English, it said I already have Ubuntu
14.04 installed. After re-packing installed packages (which took a long
time) it failed again, and I couldn't close the Installer crashed
window.

The Chinese gettext catalog is actually encoded in BIG5 but is declared
to be encoded in ISO-8859-1. (It's also incomplete and in Traditional
Chinese/zh_TW only.)

For non-Debian releases of webalizer, where translations are compiled
in, there are Simplified and Traditional Chinese support that are more
complete. (But anyone have clues how to reuse that in a gettext format?)

Also, the TrueTypeFont config (another Debian addition) must be set for
CJK text to be rendered in graphs. So graph rendering in Chinese won't
work by default (it's unset), and not possible at all in upstream.
