I just got reply from r...@ubuntu.com to witch i sent this bug.
Turns out all is correct with my wiki. BUT since i was registered before Ubuntu
OpenId was made then some settings left in old account..
David you also want to unsubscribe? Send to as Svetlana Belkin said to email
r...@ubuntu.com and give follow-up here so next generations knows what to do
with their granfathers accounts overloaded with Wiki.Ubuntu.com emails :)

[Bug 1361361] Re: Receiving all Wiki.Ubuntu.com changes bulk mail for 7 years.

2014-08-25 Thread Kangarooo Jānis
I did used * once and after month removed it years ago.
Now im trying it again- added *, saved, removed *, all is empty, saved. Still
emails comming so it worked years ago to start subscribing to all but not to
remove from all.

Now i found this https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HelpOnSubscribing
" .*All webpages on the current wiki (or wiki farm). Use with
caution, as you may receive a lot of emails, depending on how busy your wiki
is. "

"You can Unsubscribe from any of the above regex's by simply removing the line
from the text box and saving. "
But unsuscription isnt working.

So i did now also adding .* and i was 2 times subscribed to all so then
removed one and then another. Still one subpscrition is left on and not
removed.

Invalid package information

After updating your package information, the essential package
'ubuntu-minimal' could not be located. This may be because you have
no official mirrors listed in your software sources, or because of
excessive load on the mirror you are using. See /etc/apt/sources.list
for the current list of configured software sources.
In the case of an overloaded mirror, you may want to try the upgrade
again later.

2014-04-16 Thread Kangarooo Jānis

[Bug 1080233] Re: Apport thinks 12.04.01 isnt LTS

2013-01-22 Thread Kangarooo Jānis
** Description changed:

  Apport thinks 12.04.01 isnt LTS
+ Then why is needed such info that it isnt in development? I didnt asked if
its under development it told me that by itself. Support means it still will be
developed better with bug fixes and that called support. Why then is needed to
say it isnt in development? No one cares about that. Small percentage only trys
it while before release so its irrelevant for users such information. It
confuses and makes think i got failed version witch thinks it isnt LTS.

** Changed in: xdiagnose (Ubuntu)

- Apport thinks 12.04.01 isnt LTS

Re: [Bug 1085536] Re: Xubuntu has firefox-globalmenu package witch it cant use

2013-01-11 Thread Kangarooo Jānis
Since it cant be used under xubuntu then it should be removed for
installation iso and if user wants even if it cant be used in Xubuntu
then he can add it if he wishes. And then will be saved a little
bandwidth and maybe some other programm later can be put if enought
space is aquired.

[Bug 1093230] [NEW] Error Unable to mount wrong fs type

2012-12-22 Thread Kangarooo Jānis
Public bug reported:

Dont partition makes not possible to open in Windows?

1TB external USB HDD. In DISK UTILITY Formated using: Dont partition and
& FORMAT VOLUME to FAT (not possible to NTFS)

In windows 7 i plugged it in and it doesnt show up. In windows 7 in control
panel i open Administration- Computer Management
In there Disk management. I see there is my external USB HDD but it has option
only to Format Volume. I do that using not format to NTFS but dont partition.
In windows it doesnt work until i dont format it also so My Computer pops up
asking to format. I dont wanted that.
So it created Volume and without partitioning. I put it now in Ubuntu and got
this pop up- see screenshot.

2012-12-14 Thread Kangarooo
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu-bug checks if ubuntu package genuine before posting
1st it gathers info
then if possible asks for some more info with question Yes/No
So it has gathered info..
