2011-02-10 Thread Karoly Segesdi
Hi,

the adobe-flashplugin update I received today (flash version 10.2 r152) solved
this problem for me.
Thanx Adobe and anyone else involved in this!

[Bug 672225] [NEW] flash plugin crashes when going fullscreen on any video site

2010-11-07 Thread Karoly Segesdi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: adobe-flashplugin

Latest flash plugin (10.1 r102) crashes in firefox when going fullscreen
with any flash video.

We have this error message:
/usr/lib/firefox-3.6.12/plugin-container: symbol lookup error:
/usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so: undefined symbol:
gtk_widget_get_window

gtk_widget_get_window is available from gtk-2.14 but Hardy has 2.12.

I have reported this bug on bugs.adobe.com but the created issue somehow came
up not public.
If ubuntu developers can communicate with adobe people, my username on bugs
adobe.com is jazzkutya.

[Bug 104698] Re: vlc taking 100% cpu when started in daemon mode with rc control

2009-12-13 Thread Karoly Segesdi
I'd like to express my concerns about the patch.
I think the first half of the patch is an error: it disables the stdout of the
rc module.
I've created a perl script that launches vlc with the rc interface module and
expects it's initialisation message on stdout.
This patch caused my script to fail.
I think there is no reason to disable output to stdout in the patch as I can't
imagine how it could cause 100% cpu usage.
On the other side the messages disabled by the patch can be useful for an
application that embeds vlc by executing it with the rc interface module.

[Bug 107180] Re: Segmentation Fault

2009-05-15 Thread Karoly Segesdi
This bug is caused by implicit declarations of functions coming from
string.h, which in turn is caused by missing #include statements. I have
fixed all implicit declarations by providing the neccessary #include
statements. Please see attached patch agains 0.3.7.beta-13.

Hope this helps.
