[Bug 403379] [NEW] mouse sensitivity/acceleration cannot be set low enough
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center What I expect to happen: Mouse pointer moves very slowly when I move the mouse slowly and can be positioned precisely. It can be moved by just one pixel if the mouse is moved carefully. What actually happens: Mouse pointer never moves too fast, making it difficult to mark text in a low font size or using a graphics program. I'm not sure wether this is the same bug or something else, since my eclipse crashes at startup when trying to load the workspace. the error message is the same though. if i specify a different workspace with -data it works fine. the proposed workaround (using -XX:CompileCommand=exclude,org/eclipse/core/internal/dtree/DataTreeNode,forwardDeltaWith) doesn't work for me, neither does -Xint. I tried build 1.6.0_0-b11 from hardy-proposed - no difference.
