[Bug 338927] Re: [RV560] Chess-board like garbage and keyboard lockup on X1650

2009-03-21 Thread Konstantin Bukharov
Option "ColorTiling" "off"
Option "NoAccel" "true"

provides working X-Windows, but sure, w/o acceleration :-(

Option "ColorTiling" "off"
#Option "NoAccel" "true"

still console lockup, but garbage is not 'chessboard' like anymore

So, the reason for 'chessboard' garbage - ColorTiling does not work for RV560
Have to figure out lockup reason...

And finally config file.

Note, that 'radeonhd' driver produce full lockup - I'm even unable to got

Unlike radeonhd (total system lockup), remote sessions work.

Xorg.0.log is attached.
xorg.conf is generic with device

[Bug 150884] Re: Upstream (debian) patch was not applied to proftpd postrm script

2007-10-09 Thread Konstantin Bukharov
According to the package changelog, bug was fixed, but later patch seems
lost:

proftpd (1.2.10-26) unstable; urgency=low

  * Changed /dev/tty into /dev/null to manage crappy update-inetd in batch
processing.
That's definitively not required by policy, but useful...

[Bug 150884] Upstream (debian) patch was not applied to proftpd postrm script

2007-10-09 Thread Konstantin Bukharov
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: proftpd

It seems that at least in proftpd_1.2.10-27ubuntu3.1_amd64.deb (Ubuntu 6.06)
and in proftpd_1.3.0-9ubuntu0.1_amd64.deb (Ubuntu 6.10) packages, upstream fix
for
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=340262
was not applied (Fix present in proftpd_1.3.0-19_amd64.deb for example).

This prevents proftpd package to be removed from scripts executed w/o
control tty:
