[Bug 218817] Re: Toshiba p100 Conexant CX20549 (Venice) Headphone jack not working
I had exactly the same issue with my laptop, a Gigabyte W251U, after installing Hardy (also with Fedora 9 btw). After a lot of research in forums, I ultimately got it right by adding (to alsa-base): options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-micsense Now the sound works fine, either through the headphones or through the speakers! -- Toshiba p100 Conexant CX20549 (Venice) Headphone jack not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218817 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 229522] Re: [regression] Intel 82801G outputs no sound anymore through audio cinch (laptop speaker still work)
I have the same laptop & the same problem (except that I am using the x86_64 version of Hardy). After a lot of research, I finally found a cure which worked for me. In alsa-base, add the following line: options snd-hda-intel model=laptop-micsense Now the sound works as it should! -- [regression] Intel 82801G outputs no sound anymore through audio cinch (laptop speaker still work) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229522 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
