[Bug 1036181] [NEW] .viminfo file is wrong in Slovenian translation

2012-08-13 Thread Kovica
Public bug reported:

I'm using kubuntu 12.04 and Slovenian as default language. The system is
fully update with all available fixes.

If I run:
LANG=C vim
then .viminfo looks like this:
# This viminfo file was generated by Vim 7.3.

# You may edit it if you're careful!

# Value of 'encoding' when this file was written

*encoding=utf-8

# hlsearch on (H) or off (h):

~h

# Command Line History (newest to oldest):

:q

# Search String History (newest to oldest):

# Expression History (newest to oldest):

# Input Line History (newest to oldest):

# Input Line History (newest to oldest):

# Registers:

# File marks:

# Jumplist (newest first):

# History of marks within files (newest to oldest):

but if I run vim just by enterin vim then .viminfo file looks like this:
# Ta datoteka viminfo ni bila ustvarjena s programom Vim 7.3.

[Bug 365016] Re: High CPU termperature while running BOINC

2010-03-17 Thread Kovica
I'm running this on 9.10 too and the numbers are as follows (acpi -V):
Battery 0: Unknown, 99%
Battery 0: design capacity 4507 mAh, last full capacity 3863 mAh = 85%
Adapter 0: on-line
Thermal 0: ok, 89.0 degrees C
Thermal 0: trip point 0 switches to mode critical at temperature 100.0 degrees C
Thermal 0: trip point 1 switches to mode passive at temperature 95.5 degrees C
Thermal 1: ok, 91.0 degrees C
Thermal 1: trip point 0 switches to mode critical at temperature 127.0 degrees C
Cooling 0: LCD 0 of 7
Cooling 1: Processor 0 of 10
Cooling 2: Processor 0 of 10

uname -a:
Linux thinkborg 2.6.31-20-generic #58-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 12 04:38:19 UTC 2010
x86_64 GNU/Linux

As you see, the numbers are better, but still far from 65 degrees.

[Bug 520597] Re: after boot the kdm-screen is unreadable

2010-02-11 Thread Kovica
A workaround that works for me is that after a reboot I press ESC couple
of times in the moment I see kubuntu sigh with a progress bar.

[Bug 365016] [NEW] High CPU termperature while running BOINC

2009-04-22 Thread Kovica
Public bug reported:

I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 with all updates available.
If I'm running BOINC (s...@home and World Community Grid) the CPU temperature
goes up to 98 degrees Celsius.
I have to point out that on Ubuntu 8.10 running the same software only resulted
in 65 degrees.
Info:
- machine: Lenovo T60 (Intel Core 2 Duo 2.14 GHz, 3 Gb RAM)
- uname -a
Linux thinkborg 2.6.28-11-server #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 02:45:36 UTC

[Bug 209873] Re: unable to use file sharing through dolphin -- file not found

2009-04-14 Thread Kovica
Command:
kdesudo kcmshell4 fileshare
returns:
kcmshell(788) KServiceFactory::findServiceByDesktopPath:
"findServiceByDesktopPath: fileshare.desktop not found"

but command:
sudo kcmshell4 fileshare

shows a files sharing dialog.
If I go to System Settings - Advanced - Samba I don't get anything, while
running "sudo kcmshell4 kcmsambaconf" gives me the File sharing dialog.
