[Bug 1837757] [NEW] adding extension caused libreoffice to fail loading on restart

Public bug reported:

I had writer, calc and impress open. I clicked on the Language Tool extension 
here:
https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/languagetool/4.6

I took the choice to add it to Libreoffice since it was open.
The dialogue then said to restart Libroffice. 
After closing, it would not restart.

However, I just now clicked and downloaded the extension. After it
downloaded, libreoffice began to restart.

I also have problems with the GNOME desktop randomly crashing after

Ludovic:  I tried sudo apt install -- reinstall pcsd and got an internal
error:  No file name for pcscd:amd64

I am using 14.04 and have not upgraded (can't right now)

I have this same problem as well - and have had this problem for a few
months. Every time the update fails it takes me here.
