[Bug 706328] Re: package openoffice.org-writer2xhtml 1.0-10ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Bug 709984 is the same as this one - only during the upgrade from 10.04 to 10.10 I have since looked what was reported automatically by Synaptic. It does not include messages which preceded the abnormal completion code. It begins with Openoffice is running already I made the following note recently which it will help others. 110130 10:44 search in system processes - find openoffice.org-server.sh listed w/ user=docvert - kill it. Sort on user - find 2 more w/ that user - kill them. Synaptic then succeeded with clean installations. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/706328 Title: package openoffice.org-writer2xhtml 1.0-10ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
