Re: [Bug 1829540] Re: [HDA-Intel - HDA Intel PCH, playback] No sound at all

2019-05-24 Thread Luciana
Hi,
This problem is still ongoing...The comment you told me to put on that path is
not a viable solution since the document can not be changed with the
modifications I bring. Please figure something else. It is more than annoying,
literally every time my computer becomes inactive this happens.

[Bug 452652] Re: Creating DSL connection section is too terse in internet

2009-12-13 Thread Luciana
I'm not the sort of Linux geek but find my ways through sometimes. This time
however I decided to upgrade my notebook's OS from Ubuntu 9,04 to Ubuntu 9,1
and to my surprise my computer lost the internet connection. I firstly thought
it could be a cable problem. Changed cables and the problem persisted. It could
be a problem of network settings or login setting and when I try to edit the
network connection (through edit connection/DSL and clicking on the service I
use and then clicking on Edit button) the system prevents any change and
displays the following message "Error Initializing editor: insufficient
privileges". But I AM the administrator and as such I should have every
privilege for changes in the system! The only possible thing I can do is to
delete and create a new connection.
Could anyone tell me what is happening with my pc's system? Is there anything
wrong (a bug, perhaps) in Ubuntu 9,1? Has anyone experienced the same problem?

[Bug 377740] [NEW] autocompletion feature not working

2009-05-17 Thread LUCIANA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: winefish

I've installed Winefish using the Synaptic Package Manager, and the
auto-completion feature only works using Alt+Space, it used to work
perfectly before Jaunty. I've checked in Menu Documents ->
AutoCompletion = on, and the file $HOME/.winefish/words isn't corrupted.

My PC is an AthlonXP 2200MHz, with Ubuntu 9.04, release 9.04.

winefish:
  Installed: 1.3.3-0dl1ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1.3.3-0dl1ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1.3.3-0dl1ubuntu1 0
500 http://br.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I don't know what may be wrong. Could you please tell me which files or logs
can I send you to help debugging this?

Thanks a lot!

Luciana

[Bug 314189] [NEW] Rythmbox won't play podcast or mp3

2009-01-05 Thread LUCIANA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 (hardy), Kernel Linux 2.6.24-23 generic, GNOME
2.22.3

After successfully playing some podcasts downloaded in mp3 format,
Rythmbox won't play any other unless I restart it. The error occurs when
I click on the play button and an error popup message shows up, it says
"Rythmbox couldn't start playback, unknown playback error".

I've attached the debug information.

Thanks!
