If Jack could run at 1 ms, so it the kernel lowlatency which couldn't. I must compile the RT kernel. Public bug reported: Hello. Jack1 can run Audiofire 12, but now it must be Jack2. I recently bought an Audiofire 8, I connected AF8's word clock in to AF12's word clock out, so AF12 is master and AF8 is slave. It impossible to run Jack2 at 1 ms latency as with Jack 1. Jack 2 will only run if 128 ms latency (musicians can't play with 128 ms latency, it's impossible ! It must be less than 8 ms, without xruns as Jack 1.) Celerity is 340 meters per second. 1 ms → 34 cm (ok) 2 ms → 68 cm (ok) 4 ms → 1,36 meter (hard) 8 ms → 2,72 meters (hard) 16 ms → 5,44 meters (Umpossible to play real time) So why can't we take Jack1 with Ubuntu ? Jack 1 is the only which can run at 0,5 ms !! wuthout Xruns. So I un-installed jackd2 and jackd2-firewire, and others dependancies, I set synaptic to not work with "paquets" as dependencies. I installed many soundsoftwares. But sometimes Ubuntu try to automatically install jackd2 and jackd2-firewire. If so then my soundcard can't work. I don't know why jackd2 and jackd2-firewire don't work so I only use jackd1 and jackd1-firewire. Perhaps may I do a report to jackd2 and jackd2-firewire ? Yes, it's reproductible. 1) The ftp password is saved to seahorse. 2) The nautilus connection is ok. 3) Change the ftp password on server. 4) Try to connect with nautilus gvfsd-ftp (nautilus' bookmark), it won't (because new password) and the window request password is prompt, enter new password : -oublier le mot de passe immédiatement -se souvenir du mot de passe jusqu'à la déconnexion -s'en souvenir pour toujours Even if you enter the new password, it's fail and no connect ... Ubuntu 8.10 amd 64 gvfsd-ftp doesn't remind new password when I changed my ftp password and created a new connection "se connecter à un serveur / ftp (avec identification) " (add connection to server ? ftp with identification ? ) In fact, gvfsd-ftp seems to search password in seahorse 2.24.1 and even if I give the new password to gvfsd-ftp, gvfsd-ftp take the old password of seahorse. To round the (minor) bug, I must change password by opening and editing the graphical seahorse application and change the old password to new one.
