[Bug 1600650] Re: Firefox 47 does not clear graphics properly in Toolbar
Upstream want me to provide some more information (e.g.: if the issue exists in safe mode and if it exists in the official Mozilla Firefox binary (without any local distro changes)) but due to some other unrelated issue I am having trouble with this. So I was wondering if anybody else could see if they can reply to upstream while I am resolving the issues preventing me from giving this data? ** Changed in: ubuntu-gnome Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1600650 Title: Firefox 47 does not clear graphics properly in Toolbar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/firefox/+bug/1600650/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1600595] [NEW] Ability to view and change minimized state through Activities Overview
Public bug reported: I find the Activities Overview very useful as especially when I have many windows open I can just easily go into it to switch between or close some. [Bug 1599295] Re: Apport should not just silently fail when it detects the specific crash report has already been uploaded
Really? Well, I'm certain that it always has done for me... So many times have I had it upload data to LP and where the error is set as the title for the report. Isn't this https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome- photos/+bug/1568043 what normally should happen? Or when does this happen and when does it just submit it somewhere else? Also, where exactly did it submit my report to? Shouldn't it have asked at least for my comment on exactly what I was doing at the time as the crash dump may not always be enough? Ok, well: 1) Why didn't this issue affect anyone before? [Bug 1599297] [NEW] One should be able to request the URL for a specific crash report
Public bug reported: As I said in Bug #1599295, when one submits a crash report and it for some reason fails to open a browser tab/window with the reporting bit one is unable to find the URL to go to as Apport just silently fails (though does log something to syslog). So I think that as well as the other bug being fixed, it would be really good if one could specify a crash signature or a .crash file and then ask Apport to provide the URL to the uploaded contents where one can then properly report the crash in question (perhaps this could be done by a command-line option or something). [Bug 1599295] [NEW] Apport should not just silently fail when it detects the specific crash report has already been uploaded
Public bug reported: I have recently been having some trouble with Apport, I asked it to submit a crash report however there was a problem and it never launched the browser page. Now every time I try to manually submit the .crash file I get an error saying that the crash report has been already submitted (this is logged in syslog and not anywhere obvious). When I use the GUI, and when I use the apport-cli program and ask it to submit a report now on the matter it just silently exists without telling me anything. So how am I even meant to know what the URL is that it has been submitted to? So I think that Apport should really not just silently fail and should instead tell the user that the crash has already been submitted and then actually give them the URL to get to it because otherwise I don't know how one is expected to find it unless they get the Apport's signature generator working manually or something. [Bug 1598585] [NEW] Specto window does not launch after first launch
Public bug reported: I am running Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 with GNOME 3.20 and have recently found that when installing and using Specto 0.3.1-0ubuntu3 that on the first launch the window launches, but then if I close it and then try to start it again, although I can see that Specto is running, the window does not open as it should. A workaround I have found is to set it in the Preferences so that it has a tray icon too, but one shouldn't really need to do this in order to be able to use the program. Especially as if one does not do this, seemingly even if one purges all trace of Specto and its configuration files, reinstalling it still doesn't give one the window. So if one doesn't get it to have a tray icon on that first launch then Specto can't be used on that machine again which is bad. [Bug 1443052] Re: User accounts login history showing incorrect history
** Description changed: I have found that in "System Settings > User Accounts" that if you select an account and then select the button called "History" (which is meant to show the login history for that account), it will show you when you last logged in as "Session Started", but it will show that you "Session Ended" just before you login the next time. To clarify what I mean, let's say that yesterday I logged into my account on this machine at 14:29, and then sometime near 23:00 I logged out, and then this morning I logged into my account somewhere around 11:20, it will show this: Today 11:20 Session Started Today 11:19 Session Ended Yesterday, 14:29 Session Started So it assumes that the last session ended when you log into a new one, so the bug seems to be that it does not log when a session ends properly, and only logs it when a new session starts. I have attached a screenshot to show my example as I see it in the History GUI. - I have found this bug to be present in Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 15.04, and - Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with GNOME 3.18. + I have found this bug to be present in Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 15.04, + Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 with GNOME 3.18, and Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 with GNOME + 3.20. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1443052 Title: User accounts login history showing incorrect history To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/accountsservice/+bug/1443052/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1597466] [NEW] dpkg giving warning about '/etc/lsb-release' version number not starting with a digit when there is no apparent problem in the file
Public bug reported: I have recently noticed (though I believe that during the upgrade from Ubuntu GNOME 15.10 to 16.04 I spotted the message when it got to the point of updating the '/etc/lsb-release' file) that sometimes during an 'apt-get dist-upgrade' operation or similar that dpkg outputs this warning: dpkg: warning: version '/etc/lsb-release' has bad syntax: version number does not start with a digit The contents of my 'lsb-release' file is: DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=16.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=xenial DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 16.04 LTS" So I assume that this is a dpkg bug as this was the standard file and I don't see any problems in it (I have also compared it to the one on 14.04 and it is in the same format). ** Affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: dpkg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: xenial ** Also affects: ubuntu-gnome Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1597466 Title: dpkg giving warning about '/etc/lsb-release' version number not starting with a digit when there is no apparent problem in the file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1597466/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1595663] [NEW] Allow users to filter elements (e.g.: cities, country borders, etc)
Public bug reported: Sometimes I look at the map and just want to see a particular country's borders, or just the capital cities, or the non-capital cities for that matter, but I am really unable to due to the fact that there is so much data, so many cities displayed at the same time, so many borders and different types too that I really can't make anything out. Especially the fact that the country borders are really rather faint when everything is being displayed.
