[Bug 1877018] [NEW] Copy and Paste does not paste a clean path anymore
Public bug reported: Since Ubuntu 19.04, 19.10 and now 20.04 the copy-and-paste is not working properly. WHAT I WANT TO DO: Copy a file/folder with Ctrl+C (in nautilus) then paste the path into the terminal/text file. This was the nicest and most-used feature. I use that all the time. Now since some time ago, it does not work anymore. WHAT HAPPENS: The text being pasted has some extra info in front of the path. EXAMPLE: Ctrl+C with the ~/Downloads folder focused should yeild the path /home/lheck/Downloads Now, it gives me this: x-special/nautilus-clipboard copy file:///home/lheck/Downloads This text is useless when pasted. [Bug 1242112] Re: Shutdown/restart dialogue is not working if Cairo-Dock and its Launcher-API-Deamon are running or if another app is registered to LauncherEntry interface of Unity DBus
Nice, adding a delay (in autostart entry) to start plank has fixed the problem. I did this: sh -c "sleep 5 && plank" -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242112 Title: Shutdown/restart dialogue is not working if Cairo-Dock and its Launcher-API-Deamon are running or if another app is registered to LauncherEntry interface of Unity DBus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cairo-dock-core/+bug/1242112/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1242112] Re: Shutdown/restart dialogue is not working if Cairo-Dock and its Launcher-API-Deamon are running or if another app is registered to LauncherEntry interface of Unity DBus
Hi, I still have this bug in Ubuntu 16.10 with the Plank dock. Removing it from autostart worked as a fix, but I would like to start it with the login. I appreciate if someone could share a fix or a workaround. [Bug 1545653] Re: Unrecognized relocation when compiling
I still having this problem. I am trying to build an app on Ubuntu 16.04 using a separated gcc-toolchain (gcc-4.7.4-linux_x86_64). This toolchain comes from Mentor Questa which I have to use to build my SystemC applications. A simple hello world using this toolchain reproduces the problem. #include int main() { fprintf(stdout, "Hello, world.\n"); return(0); } I managed to solve that removing the ld which comes with the external toolchain by the ld from the system. A simple symbolic link had solved the problem. However, I am looking for a more elegant way to change ld like a gcc flag or an environment variable. I would like to ask if someone has some idea on how to do that. By the way, my system is currently configured with: Package: binutils - Version: 2.26.1-1ubuntu1~16.04.3 Package: libgcc1 - Version: 6.0.1-0ubuntu1 Package: libc6- Version: 2.23-0ubuntu3 Package: gcc - Version: 5.3.1-1ubuntu1 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1545653 Title: Unrecognized relocation when compiling To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/binutils/+bug/1545653/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Re: [Bug 1606339] Re: Xenial version missing
Hello Hans, thanks for the fast answer. Ok, I built it from sources using its last release from github. I had to install gnat-4.9. Could I help to make this package working? If yes, I would like to get some pointers to be prepared for this task.
