[Bug 1170757] [NEW] Python3-tk package is optional

2013-04-19 Thread Lee Daniel Crocker
Public bug reported:

I'm sure this was a conscious choice by someone, but it needs to be
rethought. If I install Python, I expect to get a working implementation
of the Python language. The Python language includes Tkinter. It's not
optional in the language standard, it shouldn't be optional in the
package.

** Affects: python3-stdlib-extensions (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 669353] Re: Mouseover tooltips not firing up correctly

2011-01-20 Thread Lee Daniel Crocker
Happens on my Laptop with nVidia drivers too, so it's not just an Intel
thing.

[Bug 355258] Re: [i865] Jaunty: DRI disabled with i865

2009-04-22 Thread Lee Daniel Crocker
I can confirm that this happens on my Shuttle XPC with an 865G. Neither
of the workarounds I've seen (using 16-bit depth or UXA) work, so Compiz
is a total no-go on my machine. Will have to downgrade to Intrepid
until this is fixed--everything is hunky-dory there.
