[Bug 1069200] [NEW] Unity WebApps do not uninstall

2012-10-20 Thread Louis Silvestro
Public bug reported:

Unity WebApps icons do not disappear when uninstalled. They successfully
installed on both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but when
uninstalled, the icon is still visible in the dash and messaging icon on
the top panel, even after a reboot. Clicking the icon launches the app
but does not show an icon in the launcher. The icons also remain visible
when the apps are removed from the dconf editor from
com.canonical.unity.webapps.

[Bug 984892] [NEW] ubiquity had internet connection unchecked in preparing to install stage

2012-04-18 Thread Louis Silvestro
Public bug reported:

Upon doing a fresh install of Kubuntu 12.04 on a virtual machine,
ubiquity did not recognize that an internet connection was present
during the install. In the preparing to install stage, the "connected to
the internet" option was unchecked, even when I confirmed that the
internet was connected by starting a live session.
