[Bug 1728423] [NEW] Backport debhelper 10.3+ to xenial

2017-10-29 Thread Luca Weiss
Public bug reported:

As debhelper 10.3
(https://github.com/Debian/debhelper/commit/f771a9a62802733fea6801dacde3badee13ef8c0)
added support for the meson build system, it would be great to have a
newer version of debhelper in xenial-backports than 10.2.2.

[Bug 1725771] Re: Update to newer version

2017-10-27 Thread Luca Weiss
An updated package (version 2.4.7) is now available in Debian Sid (and
soon also in Buster). I would appreciate an update for Bionic / 18.04.

** Description changed:

Please update python3-daemonize to a newer version (current one is
- 0.4.7). Version 0.4 was released on Nov 2, 2015.
+ 2.4.7). Version 2.4 was released on Nov 2, 2015.

There's a bug report open on Debian since March open about the same
issue but nobody responded there: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=857883
+ bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=857883 (EDIT: that was fixed)

  Thanks.

In Artful (and older releases) the version of the package is 0.4.7 even though
0.7.0 is already out. Debian Buster and Sid has 0.7.0 in the repos.
The changes are bug fixes and features (see

[Bug 1510716] Re: Wallpaper gets offset when logged in

2015-11-25 Thread Luca Weiss
So, I just tested with the image from yesterday (about 22:00 GMT+2).
Results are the same: http://imgur.com/a/l1k3d ; sorry for the first blurred
picture, the login screen was so damn short on the live-cd, and my cellphone
camera's takes very long to actually make shoot the picture.

Sorry for the delay, I can confirm the bug persists when using the Open-source
drivers (AMD). But I also had the same "problem" while using the proprietary
Nvidia drivers on my laptop (it has dual-graphics with an integrated Intel one).
Images with the open-source drivers (all fglrx-* packages removed):
