[Bug 1910400] [NEW] pychess package does not install all required dependencies

2021-01-06 Thread Lukas Svoboda
Public bug reported:

On Ubuntu 20.10, pychess cannot be started until more dependencies are
manually installed:

python3-sqlalchemy (and its dependencies)
python3-psutil (and its dependencies)

These packages should be installed automatically with pychess package.

** Affects: pychess (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New

[Bug 1888473] Re: GUI does not start, only if started from command line

2020-12-18 Thread Lukas Svoboda
Same here on Ubuntu 20.04(.1). For me it seems like an incompatibility
with gnuchess (gnuchessu). I had to uninstall package gnuchess, delete
pychess config files (~/.config/pychess, ~/.local/share/pychess) and re-
run pychess. All works then.

[Bug 1905370] Re: The tray icon cannot be displayed when the Ubuntu 20.10 is turned on

2020-12-16 Thread Lukas Svoboda
Since certain update this same behavior occurs on Ubuntu 20.04. Gnome
shell appindicator icons are not shown for applications set to start
automatically with user log in. Tested with copyq and owncloud-client.
Tray icons appear when the the respective app is started manually after
user logs in.

[Bug 552834] Re: aes1600 fingerprint-reader can not be opened

2010-05-14 Thread Lukas Svoboda
1/ This bug should be assigned to the libfprint package
2/ This bug is probably related to this upstream bug:
http://lists.reactivated.net/pipermail/fprint/2010-March/001416.html

The upstream package includes a driver for aes1610 device (ID 08ff:1600)
but the driver is disabled in the Makefile by default. Enabling it makes
it impossible to compile. The is a patch posted in Fedora Bugzilla:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=499732 but it did not make
its way to the upstream yet.
