[Bug 54154] Re: kpdf ignores duplex printing settings and forces duplex
I can confirm this same bug for me. is there any fix out there? HP4050 Laserjet w/ duplex and network card, attached to local net. duplex works fine when print jobs sent from windows machines, but KDE 4.x/kubuntu 9.x recognized duplexer, but does not print double-sided. looking for a solution! thanks in advance. -- kpdf ignores duplex printing settings and forces duplex https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/54154 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 367516] Re: installing 9.04 upgrade error
Hi Michael, FYI - Following your advice, I removed the CD-Rom from the sources.list (which even though is the active CD ROM drive, and it does work). I then upgraded to 9.04 kubuntu and the installation completed ok, however when i rebooted i was not able to login to KDE. I managed to logon to a console session, but still couldn't get to an x-window. Then, through trial and error, and a couple hours of pulling out hair, i ran sudo dpkg --configure -a from console, and then rebooted, and was able to login to KDE. There's definitely some bugs in the 9.04 kubuntu installation. Let me know if you need more info. Regards, -- Moshe On Wednesday 29 April 2009 10:17:42 pm Michael Vogt wrote: Thanks for the logs. It seems like there is a leftover cdrom source that is no longer accessable. Could you please remove the cdrom source from your sources.list file (e.g. via software-properties-kde or software- properties-gtk) and try again? -- installing 9.04 upgrade error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/367516 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
