[Bug 160977] Re: Open office crashes on outline mode in presentation

2008-10-31 Thread MONODA
I no longer use Ubuntu or OOo 2.3. I am using opensuse with GO-oo 2.4
and OOo 3 is out so i think this bug should be closed.

[Bug 208682] Re: Improper wording when asking to save changes on exit

2008-03-30 Thread MONODA
Yes but they are asking you in the dialog box whether or not you want to
save, no where does it mention that if you press cancel then it will not
save and exit. (It is also clear to me but only because I have seen this
in other applications like MS Word, but someone who is not very familiar
with computers may not know)

[Bug 208682] [NEW] Improper wording when asking to save changes on exit

2008-03-29 Thread MONODA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

when something is typed in a document and the changes are not saved, if
the close button is clicked an alert box comes up saying, "The document
"Document1" has been modified. Do you want to save your changes?" The
three options are the following: Save, Discard, Cancel. The problem with
this is that the word "Cancel" could mean to cancel saving the changes
and return to the document, or cancel and quit. This can be confusing so
the word "Cancel" should be replaced with the phrase "Do not save
changes and return to the document"

[Bug 139196] Re: Screen Flashes randomly

2008-03-27 Thread MONODA
Sorry for not including detail earlier but I will do so now if it is not
too late. I am running ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon GNOME with Compiz Fusion. I
have a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 with 128 MB video RAM. The driver was
installed using the restricted drivers manager. Every so often the
screen flashes for about 1/4 a second. This usually happens when the cpu
is undergoing relatively intensive activities. This goes away after a
while but always comes back.

[Bug 207936] [NEW] context menu is brought up too close to the cursor

2008-03-27 Thread MONODA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome

Whenever I right click, the context menu that comes up it too close to
the cursor, so when I let go of the click, it does whatever my cursor is
highlighting. This only happens sometimes but in some packages such as
totem movie player, it always happens. For example, sometimes when I
right click while using firefox, either the "Back" or "Properties"
options are done depending on where in the page you right click. Also in
Totem movie player, if you right click on a file in the playlist, it is
removed since the context menu is too close to the cursor. (I selected
the GNOME package since I am running Ubuntu Gutsy GNOME and most of the
times I get this problem is with packages related to GNOME.

[Bug 182868] Clicking on an ogg Theora video plays the video's audio

2008-01-14 Thread MONODA
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

I have enabled to preview sound files in Nautilus preferences. Whenever
I mouse over a sound file, I see a music bubble appear on the icon and I
can hear the audio and when I move my mouse away, it stops. I expect
this to happen(my audio files are ogg vorbis). When I mouse over on a
video file(only ogg theora) I see the same music bubble appear but I do
not hear any audio. Once I click on the file's icon I start to hear the
audio (but no video) and it does not stop until I close the that
nautilus window. I do not expect this because whenever I have to play a
video file, the audio plays on the first click and then it will play
again when I open the file, the audio will conflict with each other.

[Bug 111752] Re: All workspaces except 1 disappeared after clicking "close" on Desktop Effects (all settings were previously selected and applied flawlessly)

2007-10-03 Thread MONODA
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 102309 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102309

Hey you guys i got it! the same thing happened to me so i started to
experiment and i was able to half fix it. it works and everything but if
u open desktop effects after u do the following steps, u will have to
repeat them. ok so first open desktop effects and uncheck everything.
then click close. set the # of spaces to as many as u want and then
press ok. open desktop effects again and enable workspace on cube first,
this will probably remove ur spaces so then set the # of spaces to the #
u want again. now check wobble windows, this should disable the
workspace on cube so then uncheck it then recheck it. this should fix
the problem, tell me if u need extra help.
