[Bug 477429] Re: LCD Brightness not working (Samsung R470)
Hello, I have the same problem, but on Samsung r430 (c2d 64bits + mobile 4 intel graphics), and i'm using Ubuntu 10.04 32bits. What i've realised is, the light stays on the initial status: if i turn on the pc whit the energy plugged, the LCD still at 100% even if I plugged off the energy. So if I turn on the pc whitout the energy plugged, the LCD still at 50% (or something), even if I plugged back on the energy. [Bug 490031] Re: Radeon 9250 no 3D.
hi guys, I'm don't understand so much, but I wanna help how I can since this bug affects me too. I'm using the same video card, and it only cracks on resolution 1280x1024 or bigger. I'm using 1280 x 960 and it looks fine, but compiz is really slow. I'm attaching my x.org.conf. Interesting is: it was automatically generated by Gusty Gibbon (7.10). On Jaunty (9.04), It wasn't generated automatically, but when I paste the gusty xorg.conf, it works fine even on 1400x1050 resolution. So we have both problems: 1 - the black desktop on karmic; 2 - no more automatic configuration of xorg. ** Attachment added: "xorg.conf generated by Gusty" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36615691/xorg.conf -- Radeon 9250 no 3D. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490031 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
