Good idea, is possible migrate from 12.04 to 14.04 without intermediate
step ? Could you check this option if is available ?
Best regards.

Thanks for your report. However, Ubuntu 12.10 is an end of life version
and lo longer supported, so I close it.

Can't help wondering why you tried to upgrade to 12.10 instead of 14.04.

[Bug 346111] Re: my microsoft bluetooth notebook mouse 5000 doesnt work under Ubuntu 9.04, (it works well in Ubuntu 8.10)

2009-04-07 Thread Mad Max
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 343727 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343727

My experience:

Samsung NC10 - Ubuntu Remix (9.04) - Microsoft Mouse 5000

First, follow this procedure:

http://blog.chinthaka.org/2008/09/getting-microsoft-bluetooth-mouse.html

until step 3 (included). Then, instead of step 4, install the bluez-compat
package with synaptic: this package is deprecated by Canonical but it is
working for now.
Next, proceed to step 4 of the guide but just before sudo hidd --search push
the connect button on the mouse until the red/green light.

Working by two days with no problems.

Hope this help.
